Sooo what's concensus? Watch, don't watch? I have season to date DVR'd. Should I binge? So I need to watch closely? or is it one you can walk in and out of the room while it's on?
I should have labelled this first world problem. I swear I am a series killer. If I start watching and like it- kiss it good bye!
What say the Pea Refugees Fugees? ( did we ever settle on a name?)

I really like it. I watch it on demand the morning after because 9 is my bedtime!

I like it. I think it's one that you need to watch - they move to different points in time so you'd miss chunks if you left the room.

I really like it, but IMO it does a little too much jumping back and forth. But it doesn't annoy me enough to stop watching.

I liked the first few episodes, but after that I didn't like the direction it took.

I am still really enjoying it, and I am up to date with the new episodes. The switching between timelines in the show can make it confusing at times, so it would be a great show to bingewatch. I almost wish I had the patience to save the rest of the episodes for a binge, but I KNOW I won't be able to contain myself when a new episode comes out I wouldn't recommend leaving the room while it's on. There is a fair bit of detail to pay attention too, and you would be confused if you all of a sudden see two people hating each other and you missed WHY. (that was just an example I made up, I don't want to give ANY spoilers).

It's good. Very different from typical lawyer/crime shows.

I'm bummed, I'd wanted to watch it, but never setup the DVR and now I can't find the first 2 episodes to watch online anywhere Anyone know where to find them?

I have to watch most episodes twice. Also, I think the sexual scenes are VERY sexual - just in case you have kids.

I so agree with this. My dd has a Criminology class this semester, and the class discusses the new episodes every Friday. Even though she's 16, I'm so not comfortable with the sex scenes she's watching. Some of the scenes are pretty over-the-top IMO.

Wow thanks for the advice! I had no idea about the sex scenes and thought it could be our next family show.
@devildog my sons teacher talked to his class about Game of Thrones each week in 8th grade, implying they should watch. WTH? The younger teachers can lose perspective. Luckily we'd cancelled premium channels!

I absolutely love this--I literally just finished binge-watching all the episodes to date. Can't wait for next week's!

Still watching, I like it. The back and forth can get confusing, more so in the first couple episodes so hit pause if you need to get up.

Watch. Given the frequent flashback & flash forward sequences throughout every episode, IMHO you must watch it intently or you most certainly will miss something. The fast paced twist & turns of the storyline sacrifices character development & leaves none of the characters (except maybe Wes) even remotely likable. However, I personally like HTGAWM much better than Scandal, which I'm considering removing from the DVR, right now!

I sometimes use this website to stream episodes. You might have to click away a few pop-ups, I recommend the gorillavid-links. watchtvseries.to/serie/how_to_get_away_with_murder

But, in all honesty and in fairness to the teacher, my dd is the only sophomore in a class with juniors/seniors--so 17 and 18 year olds. She gets so annoyed when I get a vibe a sex scene is coming up and I mute the t.v., and make her turn her head. "Mom...seriously?" Yup, lol.

I'm still watching. I didn't like the first two episodes as they jumped back and forth between present day and a month-2 weeks ago way too much. That said, I'm not head over heels, have to watch it and feel like I'd miss something if I didn't watch every second.

I am hate-watching it. I think it is pretty terrible but am sticking with it. ME TOO!!!!!!! I liked it at first then it just kinda got annoying and the sex is a bit too much for me and normally I don't care but I am sticking with it just to see if they conclude the murder or not. Don't know if season 2 will suck me in yet or not.

I don't understand those of you saying the sex scenes are a bit over the top. The only thing 'different' is that some of the sex scenes are between two men. Other than that I don't see any of the sex scenes being too much. This could be because I watch a lot of HBO and Showtime, and it's getting very normal for me to watch a lot of sex on tv Personally I am more bothered with the violence on tv, than the sex. Everyone has sex, not everyone is violent.

It's one thing to be suggested, but another ballgame to throw someone on a desk, undo pants, flip one person over, have one person going down (I think that was in one of the scenes). I think my old self thinks it's a bit much for network television. Cable channels I'd expect, but CBS/NBC/ABC has come a long way. I guess my conservative side is showing.

I really don't consider myself a prude, but personally, I don't care to see two people really getting in to it - whether they're a same sex couple, or a man and a woman. A little bit is good enough to give you an idea of what's going on. And, whether sexually active yet or not, it is uncomfortable (for me) watching such graphic scenes with your teenage kids or grandkids.

I just didn't care for it. I watched the first episode and, having attended law school, it was just too absurd for me. I couldn't enter into to the fiction pact of "willing suspension of disbelief".

@devildog I hear ya. There have been several shows lately that I've enjoyed (homeland, true detective) where the sex could have been less graphic and we would have gotten the idea.
Do people only seem to have sex on desks or counters these days?- yes I'm old. Are women only "taken from behind" now? It seems a derogatory to me not liberating!!! At least mix it up!

My kids are so young that they turn away when people kiss on tv I'm not bothered by it, but I can see how it could be uncomfortable to watch with young familymembers. But what I was trying to say was that I'd rather my kids (when they are old enough of course) watch some nudity or sex, instead of graphic violence. Unless it is straight up porn, I consider sex on tv to be a fairly normal thing. Because sex is a fairly normal thing to occur in real life. I don't mind them showing a longer sexscene. Like the scene with the gay law student having sex in the copyroom with the assistant of the woman charged with insidertrading. To me that scene was rather important because it showed the lengths to which BOTH men were trying to manipulate the other one. And being the socialist liberal gaysupporting person I am, I am all for gay sexscenes to once in a while happen on tv, because it happens in real life. But like I said, that scene was a 'sex' scene, but it was really more about manipulation. But I can't really say that I have ever had sex on a table at work.... That part seems more unrealistic
