Can I ask why you would prefer grey? The only reason is if you're ink smooshing or or have paints or something on the darker surface it's hard to see. But definitely not a deal breaker, though. Oh, that totally makes sense! |

I have the TH glassmat and travel mat and love them! I have one that I use on a separate desk to blend inks, alcohol inks and use texture paste. The small glassmat fits in the splat box, so when I am spraying inks and oxides or Dina W. spray gloss, it's set up for that and cleans up well! The TH also has the little silicone mat that makes great splats and you can glue on it and then pick it up and put in the sink. I started with the Ranger Craft mat but love these glass mats!

i bought a glass mat right after xmas last year. i was second guessing my impulse buy until i finally used it yesterday to mix some distress inks onto some cardstock. now i'm really glad i bought it.

But the self-healing went right onto the craft table!!! I'm so happy. It's so much better than my two 12x12 mats side-by-side. AND I'm giving those to school because they said they can use them in the art room! Yeay.  |

 I have never given a glass mat much thought but after reading this thread I’m going to give one a try. Canadian crafters - this is available at Dollarama for a whopping $4. I had it in my hands earlier today but now I’ll go back and get it lol |
