Sorry you got it! Were the coworkers masked or no? I hope you all feel better soon with no major symptoms! I don't know how well they were following mask rules. We are in WV, you know.
My husband works in a large room by himself, and I seriously doubt he was always masked, and I even more doubt that he would have thought to put on a mask if someone else walked into the room.
He is really good about wearing a mask in public, and he keeps a stash in his car for anyone else who needs one. However, I can see him letting his guard down in his office where he may go hours without seeing anyone else in person.

So I guess I should purchase a pulse oximeter, huh? Is this something that everyone has, like with a thermometer and I just didn't know to order one? I have asthma and I know there are times that I just can't get enough air in. I also have 2 different inhalers, a pill, and a nasal spray all to help me with my breathing. I suppose my doctor would appreciate having that information. I also have sleep apnea and the software with it will show if there has been a large variance in blood oxygen. Mine does show that a couple of times a week. No one has contacted me from the company to tell me I'm in a position to be concerned though, so I am assuming I am alright. They monitor my stats and useage regularly. My husband is an asthmatic, and it was recommended he keep a pulse oximeter (even before COVID). That and a peak flow meter.

I hope you continue to feel well. My nephew in Switzerland got it. Super mild case. His mom got it and she had a mild case as well. Both of them lost taste/smell and in the past 4 weeks haven't gotten in back. Mom's older son (30) from first marriage got it and it's bad. They are all beyond super healthy and active and now he's headed to the hospital. You never know. Why oh why won't people (not you, OP) take precautions? I am sorry about your nephew and stepbrother. I hope they recover quickly.
I am good about taking precautions: no unnecessary trips out of the house, always masked in public, follow handwashing protocols, social-distancing, etc.
DH is pretty good about taking precautions, but he isn't nearly as careful as I would like him to be. He works in a very large room by himself for the most part, so he is sort of automatically social-distancing. However, I would bet the ranch that he doesn't wear a mask when he is working alone (and maybe it isn't absolutely necessary), but he also is not the type to automatically reach for the mask if someone walked into the room.
I absolutely wasn't calling you out or your DH. It sounds like you're doing everything you can and honestly, if I had to work in an office, maybe I'd forget from time to time as well if I were in my own office. I'm really more talking about people who HAVE to visit their grandkids or HAVE to have 20 people to Thanksgiving (like apparently many of the mayors and governors who talk the talk) or have to have a big party and don't social distance and mask up.

I can commiserate with you! DH and I are in our second week of isolation.
A good friend ordered us each our very own spirometers to help us keep our lungs strong. It took some convincing to get DH to use his, but when he tried it and saw how hard he was working he decided it was in his best interest to use it.

I'm sorry that you caught it, and I hope you both recover quickly. Fingers crossed that your DDs tests come back negative. Thank goodness you didn't see your mum for Thanksgiving!

They monitor my stats and useage regularly. We've owned a pulse ox for a very long time because ds is asthmatic. We bought another one for him when he moved out and kept ours. For a respiratory illness, it is a great tool. In face, I swear I had covid back in March because mine was dropping below 90 and for a couple house was down in the mid 80s. Dh at the time said I should get to the hospital, but he was working and there was no way I was driving. By day 3 it was back up, but still hovered around 94 (I'm usually 98-99). Anyway had it stayed that low, I wouldnhave gone to the hospital when dh got off

They monitor my stats and useage regularly. I would just to be on the safe side. Especially with asthma. I ordered one back in the spring, because my anxiety manifests as chest pain/feeling like an elephant is sitting on my chest. I was alternately talking myself down from a panic attack and then panicking because I was afraid I was sick. The pulse oximeter at least let me confirm it was anxiety, which helped the heavy/couldn’t breathe feeling.
