For some reason I always seem to type the following words incorrectly at work: acocunt for account palelts for pallets cerated for created And I often mistype my own name on emails - Megna or Megn instead of Megan The top one is a bit of a problem if I'm sending an email to a customer about their "acocunt"! I used to have a customer whose name I would sometimes mis-type. I don't want to type it out properly here in case it comes up in a google search. But her first name is short for E l i z a b e t h, and her last name is C o x. Sometimes I would accidentally type "L i x C o x". The first time I did it I luckily caught it before hitting send. When I told her about it she just laughed, and said it happens all the time. For some reason I have got into a terrible habit of hitting the ; key instead of the ' key, so all of my contractions look like this: didn;t it;s can;t And for some unknown reason, my MacBook always autocorrects contractions to add a ;t on the end, for example wouldn't;t and didn't;t. ETA: I just worked out that it is correcting my typo didn;t to didn't;t. DUH! It's only taken me two years to work that out! So does anyone else have any repeated or funny/rude typos?

Restraunt & suprise I type it incorrectly so often I’m not even sure I’d recognize the correct spelling. 😂

Becasue instead of because. I do it so often my auto correct has learned it, and doesn't highlight it anymore.

Becasue instead of because. I do it so often my auto correct has learned it, and doesn't highlight it anymore. I also type because incorrectly quite often. On my phone if I'm reaching for the space with my right thumb I often hit the n so I have 2 words together with an n between them, sonfrustrating.

pomegranate
I was adding it to the grocery list and could not remember.
When I'm typing a response my go to their, they're, there is their. Every single time. I know the difference! I typically edit my posts more than once.

The way I remember that is rest-AU-rant. Whenever I spell or type it out I'm saying that to myself.

There is a city in California called Cerritos and I am forever typing it Cerriots ... I just can't help it! I have worked out here for years now and I just do it automatically.

Historically I have always had a hard time with restaurant and definitely (spelled it "definately" forever - that's actually how I thought it was spelled when I was in my 20s, I had to have a coworker/friend point it out to me) - now for work I have to type difficult words such as rheumatology (and others) and at this point I don't even try lol.

Studnet for student - less of an issue now that I am not teaching becasue instead of because (which I just typed beacuse! LOL) alos for also
I also have a habit of capitalising both the first and second letter of words - I obviously don't get my finger off the shift key fast enough.

Thanky ou.....every.single.time. That reminds me of another one I do all the time on work emails...... Thanks you instead of thank you. Almost every single time. I also have a habit of capitalising both the first and second letter of words - I obviously don't get my finger off the shift key fast enough. Yes I do too! I often finish my emails with REgards, MEgan. That's if I'm not typing my name as Megna.

Lots of words. I'm saying in my head "don't type it incorrectly" and blow me, on the screen will be the wrong spelling. I know some is autocorrect trying to be helpful. Pah.
One word I always read incorrectly is Shopfitters. If a van goes past with that on the side, I always, in my head say Shoplifters.

So many things, all the time. There's a reason for what I wrote in my signature! (there's one word). Definitely is one that I always, always get wrong and I always spell it so badly that autocorrect always thinks I'm trying to spell defiantly. (another word I can't spell). I also manage to get the vowels wrong in calendar every single time. Thank goodness for Grammerly.

E l i z a b e t h, and her last name is C o x. Sometimes I would accidentally type "L i x C o x". The first time I did it I luckily caught it before hitting send. When I told her about it she just laughed, and said it happens all the time * Lix...errr, I mean LIZ must get sooo tired of that sometimes. * I just read the dinner thread with all the cucumber talk. * My Dad had a close friend-- Richard--who of course, liked to be called Dick. He had a very ummm.....unfortunate last name. paging Dr. Freud

Yes, his name is Richard Mycock. I promise you I am not joking.
