So, we survived our first dance competition (barely! God, we are both exhausted, and I know as tired as I am, DD has to be a zillion times more tired because she literally danced all day and night yesterday).
Anyway, as I was putting on her red lipstick last night, the dang thing broke and hit her white costume on the way down to the floor. I had some make-up remover wipes, and tried that, but it just smeared. What else can I do? It's not visible from the stage, of course, but...ugh. Our next competition is in a week, so no time to really order a new costume.
Any suggestions?

Carbona Stain Devils --they make different formulas for all sorts of stains. I keep a container of different ones in my laundry room.

I've had good results in the past with the blue Dawn dish soap; I will tell you straight it up the lipstick was pink, so I don't know what your results would be for a red color. Best thoughts, I hope you are able to get the stain out.

Ug. Been there, done that. I have always used baby wipes to blot out lipstick stains. Doesn't get it all out but it does a pretty good job if you get at it right away. By the end of the season, the costumes just seem to be such a mess - limping to the finish line! LOL!
