Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you're all having a wonderful day with your loved ones. I thought that I would go with a Christmas themed sketch this week. This is actually a digital template that had been offered as a freebie some years ago. Unfortunately for me it was well before my digital scrapping days, so I had to make my own template from it.
I think it would be easy enough to change the photo to a landscape or portrait if you'd prefer. I was originally going to use this sketch to scrap an old photo of my kids with Santa. Then I changed my mind and used it to scrap a photo of me and my family from yesterday.
I used papers from the 'Christmas Stories' kit by Becca Bonneville, elements from the 'Merry Christmas' kit by Lindsay Jane and the 'Christmas in the Sun' kit by Jocee Designs, Shimmer and Rustic Cardboard styles by Mommyish, Holiday Magic stamp by Karla Noel.

Thanks for the sketch, AussieMeg: I think this will be perfect for my December calendar page. And what a fun page you created with it! LOVE your photo booth style Christmas family photo!

Here is my page. I really liked the title dancing across the bottom and tried to emulate that. Used a Christmas Eve photo my ds shared with us. This will be next year's December calendar page. December 22 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

so...I didn't go with the Christmas theme and I subbed journalling strips in for the Christmas tree but I did start with this sketch (sorry for the blurry pic)
