Will Melania dump trump after they leave the White House?

I wouldn’t be surprised if she dumps him once he’s out of office. I’m also betting he’s broke and everything he has is fully leveraged. He is going to be on the hook for a crapton of loans that are soon coming due. All of the media coverage around the two affairs he attempted to cover up had to be very embarrassing for her. There was no doubt a prenup. With those vultures he has for kids, IF Trump has any actual assets left at all, when he drops dead she will be limited in what she gets so it may not be all that worth it to her to stay and she would still get support for Barron until he turns at least 18. Don Jr. and Ivanka for sure would fight Melania tooth and nail over anything left in the estate if he died. I don’t get the feeling that any of them are the charitable type.

Prenups aren’t binding regarding custody of children.

You can divide up money and property in a contract.
You cannot divide up children that way.

That's good. I was thinking he might try to pull something like 'if you leave me, you must leave the Barron.'

Can he at least control where they live, schools the kid goes to, etc? I was thinking he COULD get something that says she can't take Barron back to NY, as he lives in Florida now. 

All of those things would have to be in court orders from a family court.

I used to think so, but I feel different now. Personally, I feel like that narrative comes from people assuming she is *stuck* in a marriage she hates, and I don’t think that’s the case. She knows exactly what she was getting into and what she wants from it.

So absolutely not. They are two of a kind, and deserve reach other.

I think she likely wants to but I’m betting she has a pre-nup that will penalize her if she does. She’s probably hoping his age, health, and weight will take care of the problem.

Nah. My guess is that there is an iron-clad prenup that makes it more advantageous for her to stay in the marriage than to leave it. Although, I did read that the prenup was renegotiated at some point during the last 4 years.

I do think "her" book would sell better as his EX-wife like someone upthread mentioned.

I don't think there will be a book. Trump has everyone who is in his vicinity sign an NDA. That's why all the shady crap he's done over the decades hasn't come out. He has paid people to keep quiet so he can mold his image. There's no way he'd allow a book.

As miserable as she looks, I think she's perfectly fine in the marriage and will stay married. Not only is she as evil as donald, I think she is more so and that she actually wears the pants behind closed doors. 

I also think she hated the upkeep of being First Lady. She barely did anything. That makes me hopeful she will talk him out of any 2024 nonsense.

that's how I feel. I'm sure she wants to continue her life as comfortable as it is now and who knows what kind of prenup she signed. 

I doubt very much he gives a rat’s ass about any of his kids unless/until there is something they can do for him. In his mind, kids are a liability until they’re old enough to make more money for him. He has been quoted in the past as saying that raising the kids is solely the mom’s job and he had zero to do with the raising of the older ones, so I really don’t think he would want full custody of Barron either.

I get the impression that they lead completely separate lives anyway. She may as well wait it out and inherit.
