Here are my challenges. I will add yours by copying and pasting from your post.
"PRODUCTS" (like chipboard. thickers. stickers. metal. glittery things. nuvos. enamels.) ***Note: choose something you have lots of and want to use this month. That way you get to add points every time you use them For points, you can suggest one point IF you use the item, or one point PER item, or a set bonus for a certain NUMBER of items (like five bonus points for using 10 or more sequins...)
P-1 Use SEQUINS on your project
P-2 Use mists or sprays of some sort on your project.
P-3: Thickers - pull out the thicker alphabets and icons! 1 point per set of thickers used on a project
P-4: Pattern Palooza - Take one point for each different patterned paper you use on your project.
P-5: All That Glitters - Add some glitter or shimmer to your project. Take one point for each different colour used.
P-6: Go dotty - Earn 5 points by using dots on a LO, get 5 bonus points for using 10 or more on one project
P-7: Go Nuvo: - you know we all jumped on that band wagon!! 2 points for every different color used
P-8: Get Scrappy - use scraps on your page or project. 1 point for every 3 scraps used.
P-9: You've been Framed. Use up chipboard frames. 1 point for using as intended or 5 points for using it in a whole different way (think cutting up the frame maybe!)
P-10: Sticker Book Abundance. I've got quite a few of these and haven't put a dent in them. For every sticker used, you get 1 point. Bonus 20 points for getting 20 stickers on your layout (that's a total of 40 points!) I think layering and making cluster embellishments might be the ticket for completing the bonus on this challenge.
"SHAPES/ICONS" (hearts, hexagons, cameras) The shapes might include embellishments, photos, mats, pages or cards. Icons include any image on pp, diecuts, stamps, etc that you are challenging us to use: like "hearts" or "cameras" or "animals" or even "random", for example.
S/I-1: Use stars or snowflakes. One point per each star or snowflake (unless it is a patterned paper . . . then one point for the PP)
S/I-2: Labels, tags, banners and flags - such versatile shapes both to start a cluster and to add design to your page. 1 point per shape, so if you have a flag, and a banner on your page = 2 points. But not 1 point per tag. Hope that is clear!
S/I-3: Oh Christmas Tree - Use a Christmas tree on your project.
S/I-4: CURVES. Use all curvy shapes - no corners. 5 points for this one
"COLOURS/MOODBOARDS"
CM-1: Let's see lots of BLUES...
CM-2: Tone on Tone - Match your embellishments to your paper/cardstock, eg. put a yellow sun on yellow cardstock, a pink button on pink floral paper, a white snowflake on white cardstock etc.
CM-3: Be inspired by decor - Use the colors/patterns in your home decor on a LO or project for 5 points.
CM-4: It's all black and white to me. Use only black and white on your layout, except of pictures. Shades of black i.e. grays are OK. Patterned papers should be only black and white. 5 points for this. And if you use only black and white pictures - add another 5 pints.
"TECHNIQUES" (like stamping, tearing edges, die cutting, sewing, clustering)
T-1: Tear some edges.
T-2: Stamp on your project. One point for each different stamp that you use.
T-3: Die cut or use punches on your project. One point for each different design that you use.
T-4: Fussy fussy - 1 point per image you fussy cut out of pp to use on your project. Die cuts don't count.
T-5: Get stitchy - sew on your LO or project for 5 points.
T-6: Peek-A-Boo challenge. It's that technique where you fold down a corner to reveal the patterned paper on the other side and some scrappers have cluster embellishments coming out from the fold. Or another example is the paper gouge technique on one edge of the layout and then you back the gouge with a patterned paper. 10 points.
T-7: DIY. Earn one point for every element you create by hand. You can handwrite your journaling or your title, or draw an icon or doodle on your project.
"WORDS/
S" (like journaling challenges, using certain letters or words in your title or on your page, etc.)
W/T-1: It's a NEW year! - use the word NEW in your title or on an embellishment on your page - but not just in your journaling. For a bonus 5 points, make your page about something "NEW" - new experience, feeling, item (good for Christmas presents!) or baby!
W/T-2: Decriptive Titling - your title can say SO much, sometimes you barely need journaling! So for 5 points, your title must be at least 5 words and include at least 2 different lettering types (ie fonts, stickers, thickers, etc).
W/T-3: Paper Strips - Do your journaling on paper strips
W/T-4: JANUARY - that's a lot of difficult letters, huh? Let's go with the FIRST LETTER of the FIRST MONTH. 2 points for every word starting with the letter J in your title. Joyful Jumping Jacks everyone!
W/T-5: Get Wordy. Incorporate lots of words onto your layout either through lots of journaling or creatively as part of your design. For example, use word strips to make a creative element on your page. 5 points
"THEMES" (birthdays, anniversaries, pets, outdoors, seasonal, vacations, etc)
Th-1: Complete a layout about a birthday. Double points if it is your birthday (doesn't matter what month it is, just get a layout done about YOU!
Th-2: List It - Do a LO that includes a list. It could be a list of your favourite things, your New Year's resolutions, books you read last year, 5 current favourite TV shows etc.
Th-3: Furry Friends - Do a LO about your pet(s). Take one point for each animal on your page.
Th-4: "So this is Christmas" - scrap a layout that speaks to what Christmas means to you. A special recipe, song, ornament - - 5 points. If you do a layout about your childhood and have a picture of yourself add another 5 points.
"NUMBERS/SIZES": challenge us to use extra large or extra small photos or titles or other elements, use numbers on the project or a specific number, OR a specific number of layers, or clusters or other items. (Don't forget that ZERO is a number, so "Look Ma, no pp!" fits into this category.
N/S-1 Use 3 or more layers on your project. Base layer counts. One point for each layer.
N/S-2: 10 on the 10th - msupea posted this thread about the 10 on the 10th project, where you take 10 photos on the 10th of every month. If that sounds too daunting you could do 6 on the 6th, or if you're feeling ambitious, 20 on the 20th! Take one point for every photo you take and use on a LO on that particular day.
N/S-3: Go BIG or go home! Include at least one LARGE element on your page: a photo at least 5x7", a title that takes up at least 1/4 the real estate, etc.
"RECIPES" (This might include a spelling challenge, like "Use all the letters in the word JANUARY in your title", or "Use items that start with all the letters of WINTER on your project", OR any specific combination of elements)
R-1: Recipe for Themes of 2020, 10 points
1. stay home: base your card or layout on a LO or card you previously completed!
2. toilet paper: use a white background
3. seniors at risk: dig out some old supplies - over 5 years if you have been scrapping that long please. I will allow "oldies but goodies" like the Tim Holtz tiny attacher or old enamel dots (that never go out of style) to count for this, especially since it's the "oldies but goodies" we're trying to protect from this virus!
4. wash your hands - represent soap bubbles - use 5 or more circles of >1 inch - or, 20 dots/nuvos/sequins.
"OTHER" (using kits. scrap-lifting. cardmaking. spending)
