Donna challenge theme for Jan 2021 is hope. Through all of her struggles with cancer, Donna had hope that she would live long enough to see her son married and many other hopes.
Your layout should include the word hope, even in your journalling.
5 points for each time you use the word hope. And as always, a point for every photo you scrap.

I didn't know Donna, but she sounds like an amazing person. We too are hoping right now for a lot of things...here is my take on hope for my mom. The journaling is hidden in a pocket behind the "Courage" saying, on a pull out tag. This is a page from my 7x7 album, I am working hard on making it work, lol... Edited to add the second page, as it is a 2 page LO. photo.walgreens.com/store/share?via=link&token=jK05-WGMjtCv4weY-kPR3g/SFO/1002545685060/WALGREENS
That layout is beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

This is a facing page to one I had already posted with the family photo Christmas morning. These are photos my ddil sent me after talking about setting up the tree so early this year b/c there was "nothing else to do". I love the pic she sent of the little guy hanging the ornaments under the tree branches. His expression says it all about Christmas 2020... Home for the holidays 2020 1 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr But I used the word HOPE in the journaling, taking my cue from the cb sticker "Love, Hope, Joy". And one thing this year has taught us is that sometimes we need to focus on the joy we remember and the hopes we have for the future. Thanks, myboysnme, for this challenge that encourages us to scrap this.

Thanks, myboysnme, for this challenge that encourages us to scrap this. Thank you so much! When I think of a prompt I have no idea what others will do with it. Seeing it recorded as a scrapbook page is such a nice feeling.

I didn't know Donna, but she sounds like an amazing person. Wow! Amazing take on the January challenge! Donna was just one of us - an online presence but always active and supportive on NSBR and sometimes SBR. When she found out she had cancer it became important to her to get her photos scrapped for her boys. But her cancer advanced so quickly that she knew she could never make a dent with the time she had left. So the peas decided to make layouts ready for photos and send them. She lived about 2 months after she received them - more than 100 unique pea made layouts from all over peadom. Our way of remembering her strong message to us to get our pages scrapped while we can is to have a challenge each month with the goal to get photos scrapped. So thank you so much for being part of the challenge this month. Your layout is beautiful.
