nylene I like your color combinations, very nice. I need help with color wheel theory 101 but it looks like you have it mastered. angel97701, lovely! Such soothing and sophisticated colors and patterns. azcrafty, your first set of birthday cards are bright and beautiful, and I adore your second set. You reminded me how much I like light blue and brown. And I like the special touches, the pleated ribbon, the flowers. Looking forward to set number three.

Thank you jjpeapea. The 'ribbon' is the same specialty paper I used for my matting I took a long strip and put some doble sided tape on the back and just started to make some pleats, used more dstape to attach it to card

Happy Birthday Sheetload cardsI took a tip from azcrafty and made my matting pieces 1/16th inch smaller. That made my borders smaller which I like. I picked a very colorful patterned paper and depending on what parts got covered up, the smaller piece didn't match well. So I dug into my scraps and just picked something that matched and made each small piece. I have lots and lots (warehouse $1 per pack buy) of the yellow and pinwheels, so I used those for all the patterned papers except the little piece. I like that you can use what you have with these patterns. kellyr21, I'm not sure I would start Sheetload with this pattern. I love Nov 2020 pattern and have made lots of cards with that. It's very simple but makes cute cards. I am encouraging Em to start with that one.

nylene I love your cheerful colors on this set and those monkeys are just the cutest!!! Are those cut aparts ? I like how you used scraps for the small piece. I have to revisit the November 2020 one, I skipped that one for some reason.

I just printed them small and didn't use the cut feature. I bought them several years ago on a 50% sale at Design Studio.

I really appreciate all the inspiration you folks are sharing. I have been caching up on these videos and I have started printing out the sketches - getting that one step closer to actually making some cards!

I think I'm done with this sketch...well maybe a christmas version for the 12 Christmas card challenge. This is my masculine version and I love it!!! Its always hard to make manly cards. Used 2 different Stampin Up stamp sets. Afterwards I just realized that the gray and yellow is this years pantones. http://instagram.com/p/CKcxnG5pF3G

azcrafty, your feminine and masculine cards are incredible. I love the way you put patterns and colors together. That's my biggest struggle with sheetload cards. Thank you for sharing. I am making notes of where to find gorgeous examples of this month's sheetload! It is not my favorite sketch, but I do want to keep it to try again.

Thank nylene. When I saw this sketch first I didn't like it either, but after making some cards I liked that there is a lot going on and there is a nice spot to decorate.

Here is my cards using this months sketch. I didn’t use three full sheets of pattern paper, but one and some scraps. I had to adopt the sketch to European card size

I should post the Christmas Sheetload I did here as well as the January sharing thread. I was inspired by azcrafty to use the cut apart sheet I had from Quick Quotes 2017 collection Holly Jolly, all of the patterned papers are from scraps and the edges are all inked for dimension.
