jeremysgirl, enjoy your vacation. I hope you accomplish a lot and rest up a lot. kitbop, I understand about sympathy cards. I made 12 earlier this Fall and had to finish more today to have one for the funeral of a dear neighbor. I did enjoy watching the funeral online. No one sees me crying and I can hear every word. I try to make a big bunch of sympathy cards together and hope I won't need them. I am working on getting things put away so I can actually scrap some this weekend. I need more room or less stuff! Probably both.

👋hi friends! This month is getting away from me! I’m realizing that being creative feeds on itself. I find if I don’t look at it for a week or more, it very hard to get back into it. It takes awhile then for my inspiration to warm up so to speak. Sooo I think I need to make sitting at my scrapbook desk every day or every other day a priority, even if it’s 10 min.

I finished my example scrapbook page for the example for the upcoming 28-4-28. It was a labor of love because I am more of a cardmaker and pocket page filler than an entire page maker. It has its flaws but I'm satisfied with how it turned out.
I meant to make some individual and personalized valentines and I didn't get started on that. There's plenty of time, right?

schroema - that's what these online weekend crops do for me! I'm "accountable" when I've said I'll pop in, and once I'm in that space it all starts flowing more easily. The chatter distracts me from the more tedious parts of scrapbooking like moving paper around. You should join us some weekend! We're getting more people coming out because of the season plus lack of activities. And people come and go during the time, no need to commit to the full time. jjpeapea - you know, card examples are great for 28-4-28 too! Your "twist" could be to complete the challenge on a card instead of a layout! In Sketchtember, I remember one day of the week was travellers notebook sketches, and then we interpreted that into our own project of choice. If you give us a card example, we can always interpret the challenge onto a layout if we choose. Also... Almost a whole month before Valentines - plenty of time! I am *almost* done this December Daily. 4 more pages, and the photos are all in their pockets. I was going to start the next December Daily, but I need a break from Christmas!

kitbop Yes, I have a card example too that I just finished it a bit ago. My grid on that one is a tic tac toe board with hearts for the O's. I'll post it on the 1st. If you are planning on sharing your December Daily, I look forward to seeing it.

Hi all! Sorry I've not been chatting much. I scrapped a bunch of Christmas photos the last two weekends, so I need to go to the other thread and figure out the point thing and post some of them.
The merger for my job that I've been working on all year got finalized this week...thank goodness! So I'm hoping I will be able to work a little less and play more.

schroema , don't worry about having kids and pets, etc around during Online crops. All are welcome. You can always mute your mic when you need to talk to someone else or print or cut or do something noisy. The pictures are too far away to see any mess around you, so that's no worry either. It would be fun to see you. (you, too, shinyhappytina.) shinyhappytina, congrats on getting the merger. Somehow I can't image that you will be working much less. I know your dedication! jjpeapea , is your card you will post on the 1st for Sheetload or another website. I look forward to seeing it.

schroema - yes, we *all* have interuptions. The ladies have met my cats, my dog, and my 17 year old pops up every crop we have! gramma 's cat is talky and her dog is barky  Her granddaughter is a sweetie but her grandmother is ruining her  (it's OK to trash talk a Californian, right???   ) So please, join the chaos! Waving "hi"! to all the Diva's - we only have 5 days left in January! I've got my mojo back up and running for February, and I sure do have a lot of organization points to claim this month!

I completed 18 this month and I've slowed down since then. I'm going to see if I can pull out everything on Friday night, maybe Sunday and pull off at least two more for an even 20 this month. I've also got a ton of other crafts points for my crochet projects. I'll add up all my points on Monday.
I'm really hoping to paint the walls in my living room on Saturday. I was going at such a good pace while I was on vacation, but now I need to get it done this weekend.

Good luck with wall painting! I don't mind the actual painting but moving things away from the wall and drop clothing everything, that's a chore.
We had an ice storm Tuesday, back to normal now. Crafty goals include thinking about one more 28-4-28 challenge, helping my daughter make paper flowers, maybe a Valentine banner, and ordering photos on Sunday night.
