Until now trump & company’s claims of voter fraud only in certain swing states and only applying to him and not down ticket Republican candidates has been in the abstract with no proof to back it up.
At least 60 lawsuits were filed in these states and the campaign lost all but one.
There have been recounts, I’ve lost track of how many.
No voter fraud, other than on odd couple of votes, was found.
So it was easy to try and sell this to willing believers who practice very little critical thinking.
But IMO that changed today with the video of the President of the United States begging elected officials in GA to “find” 11,780 votes and give him a win in GA. In other words committing voter fraud.
His true supporters are going to find a way to spin what trump did.
But I’m not so sure elected officials will want to tie themselves to a President whom is heard on a video asking for voter fraud. If they do, them they are just as corrupt as he is.
This also reinforces the reports that the Ukrainian call was all about quid pro quo, and as such he should have been found guilty when he was impeached and forced to resign.
Its this his sort of thing that trump did as a businessman and no one held him accountable for it. Just like the Republicans in Congress appear to be doing when he does the same thing as President.

What I want to know what trump voters think about their guy going around begging state officials to overturn election results and GIVE him the number of votes he need to win. they LOVE it. They believe 100% that the election was corrupt and stolen |

I wonder if he called the Nevada, Arizona or Wisconsin governors and/or Secretaries of State begging the same thing. I’m not sure, are any of them Republicans? Also wondering what he thinks will happen if Georgia gives him the votes? Still not enough to win the election. I'd put money on he has called all of them along with PA because GA alone doesn't give him the election. He is working all the angles. pinklady, I've already seen Tweets quoting the GA state laws he is violating on this call.  |

Trump is definitely working the angles, but in PA, I think it’s more the Republican controlled state legislature, to get them to replace electors. The governor and especially, lieutenant governor of PA have come out strongly against him. Michigan‘s Governor and secretary of state, too. I would love to see him charged in Georgia for election crimes. I give Raffensperger and Kemp a lot of credit for standing up to Trump and defending the results of the election. If only more of the Republican senators and congressmen would. I hope this helps the Democratic candidates for Senator in Georgia. If I lived in Georgia, I would be mad that Trump is trying to overturn the results. |

I don’t watch House of Cards but a friend says the show basically mirrors the scandals in this presidency.
It’s crazy how many punishable offenses slid off his back though. I was certain he was going to be impeached.

WOW I just listed to the full audio. Holy crap trump is deranged! He rambled on and read imaginary numbers someone wrote on a piece of paper for him for 50 minutes.
The last 15 minutes are where he becomes unhinged because the GA officials keep telling him he’s wrong and no.

Tangent re all the allusions to Nixon: a while back, I watched one of those Man on the Street features on one of the late night talk shows. The interviewer, in front of a grocery store, would ask people what they thought about President Trump doing [fill in President Nixon crimes like the robbery, the cover up, the lies, the tapes].
Sadly, people just believed the fantasy that this was all current news, not 1972 news. (Even sadder, they signed the release to televise their idiocy.)
But then the answers: Should President Trump be prosecuted? No. Should he be impeached? No. Should he retire? No. Does this action bother you? Nope.
