“President Trump urged fellow Republican Brad Raffensperger, the Georgia secretary of state, to “find” enough votes to overturn his defeat in an extraordinary one-hour phone call Saturday that election experts said raised legal questions.
The Washington Post obtained a recording of the conversation in which Trump alternately berated Raffensperger, tried to flatter him, begged him to act and threatened him with vague criminal consequences if the secretary of state refused to pursue his false claims, at one point warning that Raffensperger was taking “a big risk.”
Throughout the call, Raffensperger and his office’s general counsel rejected his assertions, explaining that Trump is relying on debunked conspiracy theories and that President-elect Joe Biden’s 11,779-vote victory in Georgia was fair and accurate”
What’s really interesting is the power hungry Republicans are willing to jump off a cliff for this guy.

As this has gone on, I suspect Trump has serious, serious legal exposure. This is past his inability to handle losing, and into desperation.

It’s a ‘perfect’ phone call, nothing wrong at all, then do something else utterly outrageous to distract from it. I’m just glad it’s out there and he can’t redact the parts where he broke the law. Unbelievable. I’ve lost count of the number of times as thought, this is rock bottom, Trump and his minions can’t get any lower, then they do.
I wonder if he called the Nevada, Arizona or Wisconsin governors and/or Secretaries of State begging the same thing. I’m not sure, are any of them Republicans?
Also wondering what he thinks will happen if Georgia gives him the votes? Still not enough to win the election.

dt has threatened coercion, extortion, violence, all criminal on his part.
Senators left their session, just shrugged their shoulders .
House is still in session.
