Let me get this straight, The White House wants to or is planning on turning this over to the Secret Service to investigate a leaked call where the President of the United States was asking for voter fraud be committed on his behalf. If I’m not mistaken, the topic of the call had nothing to do with National Security. The White is totally ignoring the fact the President of the United States wanted elected officials in GA to commit a crime on his behalf. The fact the elected officials refused does not take away the intent of the call. A random response... everytime i think this can't get worse...it does |

Quite apart from how illegal this is, I can't believe that Trump thinks after everything that has gone on, all his failed lawsuits etc, that if they "recalculated" and found he was miraculously now *one* vote ahead, that anyone (apart from his base) would believe it for one second. He has completely lost touch with reality now if he thinks that getting the numbers to be one vote higher would be enough to keep him president. He also said he won ALL the states. Which is such utter nonsense. Oregon, Washington and California routinely announce they are Blue/Democratic with 0% of votes counted. The fact that he was saying he won all the states should show everyone just how out of touch he is. Even his most ardent supporters know the West Coast is never going to go Republican. |

I love the part when Raffensberger refutes Trump’s claim of 5,000 dead people voting with the actual count of 2. I also can’t believe Mark Meadows and the other minions didn’t cut Trump off when he started making threats. Did they really think the phone call would be completely confidential? Also the part where he accuses the police investigating of being dishonest or incompetent? Those are the only 2 possibilities? Love how he supports police only when it’s convenient for him. And Trump can’t understand how people might move out of state then back again? and the 45,000 that they checked on reported obituaries. Too bad if there were two John Smith's in Georgia and one dies, the other isn't allowed to vote  |

Let me say that I am disheartened, disgusted and enraged all at once that DC’s mayor had to make a public statement asking people to stay away from DC this week because of the anticipated protests. They are that worried about the violence that may be occurring.
I am just floored by how apt Hilary’s epithet for Trump supporters - “Deplorables” - was.

He has removed dropboxes and limited polling places where POC are trying to vote. He has and continueds to purge voter rolls. |

On some level one almost has to admire trump’s determined single mindedness toward achieving his goal.
We have on tape trump asking an elected official in GA to find votes so he could be declared the winner. After the election had been certified, after an audit and recounts.
This is what trump is going with...
Too bad he didn’t apply that same sort of determination toward COVID-19 and the tanking economy.

I NEVER watch Fox News, but in the interest of historical accuracy and maybe a big of self flagellation, I flipped between all the news channels yesterday evening. Nada on Fox.
If Trump suffers no consequences from this, every single Republican will follow suit for every election. If the asses in the Capital face no consequences for their dispute with the election, we can expect this for every election.
I know I'm repeating what most everyone has already said on this thread, but WTF people!?!

People have been "humoring" him his whole life. When they go along with his fake magazine covers, let him cheat to win a round of golf, or laugh when he makes "jokes" that are anything but funny, they are adding to the problem. Thing is, this has happened in all areas of his life and he expects it--and believes he is entitled to it because he doesn't see that people are just going along with him to get out of the situation.
