I can't do anything for 100 days every day. I can't even commit to a nap every day and that is what I would be most likely to do. But for those more disciplined than me it would be a good thing.

So I know I can do this. I’ve been uploading on YouTube daily since Feb 1, 2020. That means I can definitely handle 100 days.
But what do I want to DO for my 100 days? I have no flipping idea. I guess it doesn’t have to be themed or anything—but I’d prefer it to be.

I actually completed the 100 day challenge last year!! It took me closer to 115 days but I stuck with it. I did a few different projects. Some took a day — some took weeks.
I’m participating again this year. I think I’ll start with writing daily quotes to work on my handwriting & get some positivity flowing. Then I want to finish some incomplete projects. On days when I’m not “feelin it” I plan to do a selfie or random photo or a currently list or fussy cut images from vintage patterns & storybooks. I’m determined and having backup plans is key for me.
I love the idea of a PEAS hashtag.

It's not craft related, but I really need to do 100 days of salads. It's not silly at all. I've decided to do 100 days toward my exercise goal while I work toward my crafting goal. It can be walking, running, strength training or even yoga. I thought it would be good to pair it.

It works well for a big project you want to break up into bite sized pieces, or for a new skill that is going to take tons of practice. Choosing a project is the hardest part for me. I prefer to have a theme or a specific goal. Let us know if you have some ideas! That's amazing that you've been doing daily YT for so long. You can definitely do this.

I will go a few days and not do anything then give up because I feel like I have to be "caught up". I know that's something I need to get over. While I know I won't do this, I think I could pull out some of my albums and just journal something on pages that only have dates. It would take less than 3 minutes a day if I only wanted to spend that much time, but having 100 more layouts with details would be a good thing. jediannie I am very much that way and not having enough me time. My son is back in school, but it really didn't become consistent until this year. I've been a bit pessimistic, thinking something else will happen, so why bother to take time for me to create?
950nancy I like this idea. I'd like to at least get photos printed for 2017-2021 for my family albums with divided sheet protectors. I'll concentrate on a pocket a day. Journal one card, decorate one journal card, or something very simple like that. I think that's all my brain can handle right now. I love the idea of developing a new skill, but I'll keep it simple.

I've figured out what I'm going to try, I'm going to do watercolors every day! I got a watercolor paper notebook and the Amy Tangerine paint set so that's something that won't get too messy and I don't have to have a bunch of stuff to bring out. I've never done watercolor before so I'm excited to play around with this.

Have you checked out any videos or guides to get started? I signed up for a free class a few months back but I never followed through with it. It had exercises for color mixing and all that fundamental stuff. I'm more likely to just jump right in with the easy Christmas tree video that grammadee shared recently or something like that. I usually use my watercolors to color in embossed stamps. Easy!

Several years ago when I was going through a divorce I started a gratitude journal. Every night at bedtime I would write down three things I was thankful for that day. Some days were super easy and I could have written 100 things; some days I struggled to get anything down on the page. But I found SOMETHING to be thankful for every day. I don't know why I ever gave up on that practice because it sent me off to sleep each night in a better frame of mind. I've decided to start a new gratitude journal for my 100 Days Project, though I hope to continue it long past the end of the challenge.
I also plan to give up social media (FB and Instagram) for 100 days. I've not posted to Instagram since early December and I've been trying to limit my FB use, but I want to go completely without either, as much as possible. Not being on FB will be good for my mental health.
I'm also going to give up my beloved Diet Coke for 100 days. That's going to be the hard one.

I've looked a little for beginner classes or even just online tutorials but haven't found one I'm ready to commit to yet. What class did you take? I've not posted to Instagram since early December and I've been trying to limit my FB use, but I want to go completely without either, as much as possible. Ooh, the diet Coke thing will be rough but you can do it! I gave up drinking soda years ago and lost 10 lbs just from stopping soda (I drank the regular soda, not diet but I bet you'll see a difference). I limit my Facebook time to 1 hour a day just to check up on my family and also to check some crafty groups I'm in. Instagram is my current addiction but I mostly only look at scrapbook/crafty accounts. I'm trying to limit that one too. Good luck!

It's a legit addiction, very hard to break and easy to slip back to unless you have good alternatives and a clear reason why. You can do it though, and it's so worth it. Good luck!

I am a water drinker, both regular and sparkling. When I need the bubbly feeling I will drink a sparkling water. I have already made the transition from regular Diet Coke to caffeine free Diet Coke, so at least I won't be dealing with the headaches!

I gave up Diet Coke cold turkey in January 2016. Had a killer headache for a week (also gave up sugar that same week, so that added to the headache, but alas sugar made its way back into my life). I haven’t had a Diet Coke (or other soft drink) since! (Only drink water now). You CAN do it! I seriously lived on the stuff, that’s all I drank, and now if I take a sip of my husband’s, it tastes very chemically and gross. I wonder how I ever thought it was the nectar of the gods!

I need to stamp out some images for my coloring project today! I'm trying to remind myself I don't need to stamp enough for all 100 days, but I do need to prepare enough so that I have some options and don't run out right when my motivation takes a nosedive in a couple of weeks.
I'm going to try to build this into my morning routine somehow. Last year I found myself doing my project at 9pm every day. I don't have a lot of willpower or energy left by that time of day so I didn't put much effort into what I was doing. If I really want to do this project well it should be what I do with my morning coffee.
Does anyone else have a plan for building this project into a daily routine?

I think I'm going to attempt to complete 100 Art Impressions Stamps watercolor images. I did the same thing last year and managed to finish. I haven't played with those stamps hardly at all since then. It was very relaxing way to finish my day.

I usually have coffee and watch videos. It will be easy to just watercolor while I'm doing my regular morning routine. I'm going to set up a box with everything I need so I can easily do this at my kitchen table and just put it back in my craftroom when I'm done. I will try to set it up and share a picture of it here this week. And you are right joblackford I don't have to do all the stamping before it starts I just need enough to start. I was a little stressed out about figuring out what I want to work on for 100 days. I want to do one more thing for 100 days and this I would do in the evening. At least 15 minutes to clean/organize my over flowing craft room. This would be a good habit to keep for sure.

I'd like to try this, but want to keep it something simple. (Can't get the 100 day project website to load, so can't read what it's all about.) Would it be possible to do this by taking a picture of something every day and put them in a journal? That might make me document what's happening in my life (which is basically nothing right now). I've lost my mojo to scrap. My craft room needs an overhaul. I have so much stuff I need to start using it all but can't find the time. (See, I have excuse after excuse!)
I hesitate to join something that I might lose interest in, but I think I can take a photo with my phone of something important every day, and then print it and make it into a journal. I have several traveler's notebooks and a couple larger notebooks from Webster's pages (make it kinda like Heidi Swapp's journal). Don't have to have a full page each day, just a photo and some words to document.
Have I talked myself into this?

Don't have to have a full page each day, just a photo and some words to document. Have I talked myself into this? Yes, I think you have! Lol. The 100 day project site doesn’t have a huge amount of info. It’s mostly aimed at artists who are trying to grow their work and their following, but the project itself really is just: pick something to do for 100 days and do it, share it with a hashtag if you want to. It can be anything, but something small and simple is ideal. If you start taking photos and journaling a tiny bit each day and then for whatever reason don’t complete the 100 days you haven’t lost anything. You’ve gained however much you get done, and maybe it will help with your other creative blocks too. If you miss a few days just get back to it. Some people just keep going until they hit 100 days but 100 is totally arbitrary, so do what you want. Ideally don’t let yourself skip 2 days in a row, if you do you’re much less likely to come back to it. But honestly anything you can do is great. If you come out of this with 19 or 37 or 82 stories and photos, that’s amazing! Better than nothing. If you want to share I think we’re going to come up with an Instagram hashtag, or share here, or don’t worry about it. Sharing is helpful for accountability but not necessary. Some people create a sharing post each week, some do it daily. Last year I didn’t share my project much at all.

Need to play with this art form more. Constantly learning new things.

istamp247 I just started to follow you on IG and your water coloring is so good already. Thanks! I'm such a beginner. I had only started last March after a class at CKC just before everything shut down. I feel like I still have so much to learn and would love to learn how to actually watercolor without the stamps. Maybe this year I'll try to add some free hand touches.

100 day project starts tomorrow!! Yes, it does! Tomorrow! I've edited the title and original post with the hashtag #100daypeas - feel free to use that, and follow it, if you want to share what you're doing with other peas on Instagram. I've stamped some images and started sitting at my desk in the mornings, planning to do coloring first thing with my coffee. I just need to set aside a spot in my top drawer for the pages I've working on. http://instagram.com/p/CKkcWDGpkIi
