Thanks for setting up the hashtag, Jo I finally decided what I'm going to do for my project. I'm still going to eat my veggies like I mentioned upthread, but that won't be it. I'm going to force myself to draw, something I haven't done in 30 years. I found a 100 sheet composition book that I'm going to fill with badly made pen and ink sketches. It's so intimidating. It's making me nervous to click post right now. Gah!

I am a water drinker, both regular and sparkling. When I need the bubbly feeling I will drink a sparkling water. I have already made the transition from regular Diet Coke to caffeine free Diet Coke, so at least I won't be dealing with the headaches! That will definitely make it easier! I gave up Diet Coke cold turkey in January 2016. Had a killer headache for a week (also gave up sugar that same week, so that added to the headache, but alas sugar made its way back into my life). I haven’t had a Diet Coke (or other soft drink) since! (Only drink water now). You CAN do it! I seriously lived on the stuff, that’s all I drank, and now if I take a sip of my husband’s, it tastes very chemically and gross. I wonder how I ever thought it was the nectar of the gods! I gave up Coca-Cola at the end of May 2018- the last time I even had a sip of Coke was July 31, 2018! I was not very nice for the first 30 days or so, but my health is much better now.

I think I'm going to send these 100 days working on a few cross stitch WIPs - I have a Christmas advent calendar I've been working on since 2003 that I just want to finally finish! I also started working on a color temperature tree that I keep at work on days it is too cold to go outside at lunch time.
I also need to spend at least 10 minutes a day on organizing projects!

Okay, I think I'm ready! I'm using a Webster's Pages composition notebook. I decorated the cover and the main page. Will start tomorrow and try to document/photograph the days as they go by. WISH ME LUCK!

I think my 100 days will be catching up on sending cards. I wanted to send Christmas cards to the group, but I had a medical issue and I lost time between thanksgiving and Christmas. I want to send a card to everyone who signed up for the holiday card exchange. It just may be a little late after Christmas.

I haven't decided what I'm doing yet, but I will be posting and following others on Instagram. My handle is really.ryann. I'm really looking forward to participating and seeing what others do! ETA: I've landed on doing mixed media for 100 days. I picked up a variety of new goodies last year between Tonic, Shimmerz and TH so I think this will help me start using them more.

Me yesterday - I’m not going to do the 100 day project. It’s too much.
Me today - I’m going to do 100 days of focused photography. First up is learning flash and minimalist photos. After I figure this out I will move to the next thing.

haha, glad we have more people joining us! ComplicatedLady sorry to hear you had medical stuff complicate your plans but I think anyone would be thrilled to receive a surprise card. Ryann sounds like you have a good plan, use those new supplies, play and have fun ecvnj58 I'm looking forward to seeing your photos (as always, but *minimalist* ) I got straight to coloring this morning, even though I didn't have much time. I grabbed some simple to go coffee cups and a red marker, easy. Getting started early for red cup season this year! I'm hoping to have enough different images that I can choose my difficulty level depending on how my day looks, but I'm also giving myself permission to start something more complicated and not finish it the same day. I haven't taken a photo yet.

Good luck everyone! I’ll be rooting for you.
I hope to actually finish this project one day. 82 is the farthest I’ve ever gotten. I’m more of a 50 day project girl lol. I really want to do stamp carving as my project but this isn’t a good month to start as I’m going to attempt LOAD and two other separate daily journaling projects this month.

I love stamp carving! Haven't done it in ages even though I bought some new supplies. I'm not sure why they're starting so early this year. I assume it's in the hope that we'll all be vaccinated and partying in 4 months? Enjoy your other projects.

I made my first quick sketch in my book tonight. The first page in a new book is always the most nerve wracking one. I think I'll be okay now. I'll take a picture for the IG tomorrow in the daylight.

I think I tried one year and made it to day 2. I made a last minute decision last night to join In! I’m doing a song lyric journal.

joblackford do we get points for doing this? This is not a card so I'm not sure how to count this. Extra points if we do it every day for the month?Creating and sharing points?

Yes, I guess we should make this a challenge! hmmm, I'll have to think about how to score since it's a multi-month project. Maybe 5 points per day that you do it, then double the points if you do it every day that month? I think sharing points can be as usual - if you share an update here add a point. Or alternatively people can just count it hourly for the "other crafts" challenge? grammadee do you have any thoughts or advice about this? Sorry, I am a bit brain-tired today.

Do you want to pop in a challenge for the 100 Days project, joblackford? You can pretty well set the points, but I like the 5 or 10 points per day plus a bonus if you actually do this every day this month.

I've posted a challenge with lots of points (but hopefully not complicated points) for anyone playing along with the team challenge. I'll try to do the same for the next few months with a big bonus for anyone who completes the full 100. Thanks for suggesting that azcrafty !

Thank you for setting such a generous points up joblackford. I think I will make a collage of the projects and post that every week. I don't want to clutter up this thread with daily postings. I have been following the hastag and its a great way to see everyone's project.

I’m finished with day 3 and got a head start on 4. Pics coming tomorrow. I’m trying to set up the next day on the night before. That makes it less daunting to keep up with. But so far I’m loving it!

I have managed to go above and beyond my goal for this week. I'm pretty excited about that. I just may finish this blanket in my lifetime. Ha!

Hey peas, I recommended an account on Instagram on another thread and noticed she is doing 100 days. Here is her account for inspiration.
I apologize if she's been mentioned. I'm sorry, I have not read all the posts. It's been a tough week with my son and it's only Wednesday. He'd gone almost seven months without a seizure, had a really small one in January and a worse one on Monday. He didn't go back to school until today. Did I mention our washer died and I had to go to the laundromat last night? I won't go into the details of why it was important to get laundry done immediately.
My goal is to complete 100 journal cards and I have finished one. I'll post photos of cards I embellish and let you know about the cards that just have journaling. I'm doing this challenge a bit differently and just trying to create. I need an easy distraction! Learning a new skill right now requires too much brain activity.
I'm on my laptop now, but will post the summer card I made. I will try to do something each day, but not feel bad if it doesn't happen.

Eh, um, I didn't get very far, but I think I'm done. Or, I'm switching gears anyway. I'm quitting my 10 minute sketch project. It turns out that when I have time to draw, I'd rather be scrapbooking. But, I'm also the kind of person who walks away from books I don't like rather than forcing myself to finish them, so I'm A-OK with walking away from my original project in favor of spending my time doing something I like more. And I've been doing a layout a day anyway since we started the 100 days, so I'm just going to keep going with that. I'm not making it a goal to finish a layout every day, just to work on them. How are you all doing with your projects?

So far so good over here.

Here's my desk set up: 100 day set up by jo.blackford, on Flickr Coloring images ready to do in the top drawer. Coloring supplies in the bottom drawer. Some more images to stamp on the desk to the left. I have everything within reach and the coffee maker is just a few steps to my right. I try to do my coloring while I drink my morning coffee.

It’s going well for me and I have ladies joining on for my Follow a Sketch February series which is within my 100 days project. I feel like I’m trying to get the most bang for my buck. 🤣
I don’t think I ever came back to say what I was doing. I’m doing 100 Sketchy Videos.

Here's day one. I should really learn to color. My attempts had it looking worse, so I'll stick to black and white. This was taken in early morning, so not the best light.

I am amending the 100 day challenge once again! Do 100 things, thats it; and they can be small. I've already posted these in 2 other threads, but here's a couple of quick Valentine's cards I made this morning, because I forgot it is on Sunday! Which is also my mom's birthday.
