Paige Evans announced today that she has a new explosion box collection (includes 12x12 and 6x6 papers, ephemera, glitter, die cuts, trims, clips, etc.) available now at Michael’s. The collection is also available online. Despite earlier controversies, I always liked Paige since her SC times. She seems to be truly genuine, loyal to her style and seems to have that girl next door likable personality. Hopefully her Recollections collection will help struggling craft store. I have so much of her things and pastel scrapbooking items so I will be passing on this collection but I am curious to see her AC collection. www.michaels.com/search?q=Explosion%20box |

I'm not into the colors either, but I like the boxes a lot. I'd never attempt one of these on my own, but if I could start from a kit, like one of these, I think I'd enjoy the process.

I’m waiting instead for Micheals new Capital chic designs release. I have several pieces of her last release and I like it.

Maybe it will look better in person, but I don't like it at all. Doesn't even look like her stuff. Looks like a lot of the other stuff already at Micheal's that I never buy. I usually pick-up at least some of her AC releases but this is a hard pass for me too.

It's a pass for me. Neither the project nor the products - pastel sherbet palette, rehashed icons, etc - appeal to me. Oddly, it appears the designer's name is not shown on any of the products/packaging or listed in the descriptions (per the link in the OP).

I’m ok with it. My one question/concern is mixing something called “explosion box” with glitter. Maybe it’s the teacher in me reliving our glittery elf project, but I don’t know if those things should go together. 😉

I may be in the minority here, but I like the products. I love the look of explosion boxes, but have no patience for making the actual box, so I like that I can just buy a pre-constructed box and decorate it myself. These colors aren't for me, but my niece loves pastel colors and I was thinking about making something like this as part of her birthday present this year, so this will actually work perfect for this particular project.

Not a fan of the colour scheme either. I was looking forward to more embellies in the line but I don't see many? Doesn't matter anyways, my local M's is closed until end of January  |

I have never been a fan of her designs. She seems to be the one who truly enjoys what she does unlike some other AC designers who are just a name on the product. But I have never been a fan of her designs.
I like pastels and I got a bit excited at 1st but this collection is not my favorite.
