Re: the Venmo thing. I think this is becoming a “thing” now. My 2nd cousin’s daughter put her Venmo on her car after her high school graduation and said she needed money for college (eyeroll), and a photographer I follow on Instagram just posted a photo of an elopement, and I caught the Venmo on their car window as well. I still think it’s tacky. Hmm interesting…..will it be on the side of the hearse or casket at funerals now?

Oh geez, Heidi is at it again with this venmo BS on her stories! This money grab is gross. A few people said how tacky it was but still genius. Eye roll. Then one lady said only boomers will hate it. I’m not a boomer. I hate it because it’s tacky. If a couple isn’t registers anywhere, that’s the signal for cash. You don’t ask for cash. You don’t ask someone’s income. And you don’t ask who someone voted for. It’s just common knowledge. Also the hysterectomy. Saying full hormone replacement is necessary is completely wrong UNLESS you also had an oopherectomy (spelling). I have my ovaries so there for my hormones are still going. And I’ve followed Heidi for years and had no idea she had a little brother who died. How terrible.

I admire their resilience (from what we can tell, at least).

She said her dr was taking a wait and see approach and she didn’t like how she was feeling so she tried it. Since she had only one ovary before the surgery, taking the second one threw her into immediate menopause.

That would be a really usable stamp set. Perfect for my PL. I especially like "How it started" and "How it's going". I have so many photos that would work with that.

Great stamp set! How does purchasing it work if we don’t want to subscribe? Do they eventually end up in the shop?

Great stamp set! How does purchasing it work if we don’t want to subscribe? Do they eventually end up in the shop? you can get them on a month to month sub - which means you can get this one, then cancel once it ships. It's $28 for that option..... I do love that set though - just trying to figure if in NZD whether I love it *that* much!!

Why is there 2021, 2023, 2024 and no 2022? It's not a deal breaker. There's a lot of usable stamps. I'm kind of picky about handwriting on stamps. I really like Heidi's; not sloppy, legible, and pretty.

I think I'm in for a huge disappointment.... HS STB kit always arrives about 6 weeks after paying for it.... now, with USPS not delivering to many international destinations and 'returning to sender' all those that have been posted but still in the US, I simply don't know where my kits are since August!

Yes, that happened some time ago. At least the beginning of this year but maybe even last year.

I love the October kit and I can’t wait to get mine! Hopefully it will arrive tomorrow.
I have also used the definitions set a ton. I’m so glad I am a subscriber. Two of her sets have been a pass for me and I’ve sold them for almost one I paid, so not a complete loss.

Thanks to Booty for posting a link to this thread in the DD thread. I'd love to know what people are thinking about the Holiday collection that just released. I sub to stamp society (and this month's number set is amazing! All of the Christmas stuff is in the add ons so I added the falala washi - good match to Ali's Main Kit big plastic falalala - and the acetate pack. I also have the 6x8 Christmas stamp and the caption in my box right now, but not sure I will keep the captions in there - seems like a lot of repeats to some other sets. Curious what others are getting,

I think it’s really cute, if I wasn’t knee deep in AE I would have been interested. I did get the definitions stamp set because I will probably make some extra journaling cards.

I agree it’s some cute stuff but I’m also knee deep in AE Christmas (that I’ve yet to receive) and just spent on paper person as well. :/ I’m cutting myself off. Too bad she didn’t drop sooner. I LOVE that washi. Also, I would not have looked twice at that die cut wreath but the samples she’s posted on stories are just gorgeous. If she’d do a tutorial I could see (for free I’m not paying for a class) I’d probably crack - and the then I’d throw in that washi! Lol

I haven’t bought any Christmas stuff yet so I’m strongly considering getting something from this collection. The pink is the only thing holding me back. I like the stamps a lot, that peppermint is too cute. There’s a few AE things I like that are still in stock. Trying to decide if they would go together. I’m not doing DD but would like to start a perpetual Christmas album again.
Also I love to see Heidi’s tags and stamped creations but I’m not paying for a class.

I have paid for a couple of classes that involved mini album creating. Those were worth it. I always buy early bird so it is a bit less $$. I bought Stamp Therapy. That included the stamp set so it made the cost bearable. Now that I know of new to me techniques, I won't buy any being offered now. I follow her in IG. She will have tags and other stamping done or showing the creation of one. I just grab screenshots and save to a folder. I can then pull those up and stamp away. I will also admit to not buying all the stamps from her. I cruise through AliExpress and find them. I have only had one stamp set that didn't come as it should.
