Ds20's nanny sent me a video clip from when he was a toddler. He is standing in front of the tv watching a video of the opening song to the Australian cartoon Bananas in Pyjamas and Ds is doing that thing where it looks like you are walking down stairs and he's shouting Bee Anna every time they sing Bananas. OMG it's beyond adorable. Bananas in Pyjamas

I have several happy things to share: * negative COVID-19 test (& DH & I both feeling better from apparent cold virus last week) * NHL hockey is back * supplies came for me to start a new cross-stitch project for DH Nice to hear everyone else's good news too. TFS!

I have bits of tree carp all over my yard and it makes me happy, happy. We are adding a sunroom and needed a pear tree removed. Now progress can continue. 😊😊

I had to run to Target today between the end of the school day and rehearsal. While I was there, I ran across this journal on clearance. It was $3. I flipped through it and decided I should by it. As I was walking to the checkout, I was literally thinking this isn't for me - I'll never do the prompts and realized I was buying it for someone else. On my way back to school, I was trying to figure out who I needed to give it to - going through the names of several students in our program who are going through various things. I went to rehearsal and didn't give it another thought until the end of rehearsal when one of our students reminded my husband that he was going to print her some mindfulness journal pages based on a conversation they had earlier in the day. Then I knew - the journal was for her. As an aside, I wish there had been more - because the prompts I read and the reviews online - I know several others who would benefit, but you can't order them online and none of my local stores have any more.

Introducing Princess Leia. We got her last Monday unexpectedly. The breeder had been planning to keep her, so we had only a one to clean & puppy proof. Obi 1 has been very good with her. He is now 7 years old, from the same NH farm. Our first lab, Chewbacca, passed this fall and was almost 16 years old. Leia is the smartest lab that we have owned. Very food motivated, and has few wet accidents in the house so far. And, other than the horrendous second night, has slept very well. She holds it from 11 pm to 6 am. She is wearing him out!! she is beautiful!

My 85 year old, cancer and stroke surviving, COPD fighting Dad is recovering from Covid 19. I’m daring to hope he’ll make it! I’ll give you some hope. My 85 year old father is surviving COVID. Tested positive the day after Christmas. He was a former smoker, has survived cancer multiple times and has no kidneys. He was hospitalized twice, but is now negative. He is still feeling poorly, but seems to be on the mend.

I spent WAY too much money last weekend buying clear bins at Bed, Bath and Beyond but boy does my organized pantry look awesome!! I was staring in to it last night and DH asked me what I needed. I replied "To stand here for hours just staring". He didn't know what to say, just walked away. Many of your Pea friends completely understand!
