Yes! I just love corgies, a friend has one who plays basketball with herself, it's so entertaining! We have a 12yo heeler mix that embodies everything you said! As a matter of fact, she was so bent out of shape over Daphne getting to wear a leash/harness that she manipulated me into taking her for a walk in the freezing wind this afternoon. We walk every day. Every day. Even when the snow is up to our poop hole. To be fair though, that isn't saying much for a corgi. We walk our puppy everyday too (or try to) and now he's getting too big for DD to take him out (St. Bernard). She took him out yesterday and some dogs behind a fence went crazy, he went crazy and she got caught trying to hold him back with the leash.. Ummmm told the kiddo to immediately let go when that happens but she forgot. To say the least he is really calm 99% on walks.. so until training is complete, I'm going to have to do the walking. Which is good for me anyways. 80 pound puppy is something you can't hold on your own! HA... |

She found the toy basket.  OMG just too cute!!! I love watching a dog play with her toys. When we get new toys for our neighbor’s dogs, it just makes my whole day ! |

Pupdate: we had our first outside pees today. Very exciting stuff. She's slept a lot surprisingly. I'm keeping her leashed to my belt unless she's crated and we go out every 2 hours. At treat time, she plopped herself between the other two sat right down for her cookie. She's also figured out that I keep treats in my pocket, so that's fun. She helped with some yard work this afternoon, and when I say helped, I mean tried to run off with limbs twice as big as she is only to get 4 feet and be jerked to a halt by the leash. Aww! What a sweet baby!  I love her name, too. We fostered a precioussss girl named Daphne, and we sometimes called her "Daffy", "Daffy Duck", etc. OMG---the MIRROR pik! She's thinking: "y'knowww.....I really AM very pretty!"  |
