Do you like it? Is it easy to get/find the replacement blades? I saw the AC Cut Up 12-in combo trimmer at my TM today at a good price ($15 - I'm cheap), but I resisted b/c I wanted to get the peas opinions first. (Link to the same trimmer from the AC site is below.) AC Cut Up combo trimmerI'm sort of in the market for a new portable paper trimmer - my current one (Fiskars) still works okay, but it's pretty old and starting to show signs it may not last. It's started to get loose and snap apart (where the blade pops out) more often. Not a huge deal - it goes right back together, but still...each time it does that I feel like it gets a little more loose and then I wonder whether it's still cutting straight. I'm also starting to wonder how much longer I'll be able to get the replacement blades for it. I've really liked this trimmer, had it forever & use it a ton. I like that it's pretty basic, small/lightweight, portable, simple - so all of those things are what I'd be looking for in a new trimmer. The Combo blade is just sort of a "nice to have" feature - and if not for the fact that I saw it so cheap at TM, I don't know that I'd necessarily look for one w/ a combo blade, KWIM? So, please - if you've used (past or current) the AC Cut Up Combo, tell me what you thought/think of it. Feel free to enable me, but only if you really think it's a good trimmer! TIA!

I saw it, but I resisted buying it because I have never seen it for sale anywhere else. Unless I know where to get replacement blades, there is no way I'd buy it.

I those too but didn't look at it long enough to see if the blades were self sharpening. if not, I wouldn't buy it for me. I spent enough years and dollars replacing the blades on the fiskars trimmers I used to have. I did like the large cutting mats they had.

They did have a few of the replacement blades there at TM, and a quick search shows that they do seem to be available...online. Just don't know if I wanna go through that. However, the trimmer does seem to have everything I am looking for - I'd just like to get an idea of how well it cuts since I can't try it in the store.
