Interesting that so many loved basic grey- and they managed to do several entire collections without a skerrick of pink ! Are you listening American Crafts? Exactly! I thought of a couple other ones: American Crafts Chap- Yes, they actually made a line without pink! I love that one- have made a bunch of boy pages with it. Lovely greys, blues, etc. and not especially themed. October Afternoon Witch Hazel- One of my favorite Halloween lines. The music paper is one of my favorite papers ever- I wish I had a couple more sheets of it. We R Memory Keepers- Down the Boardwalk. I was never a fan of WRMK lines but I absolutely love this one. I've made a bunch of pages and plan on making more. K & Co- Tim Coffey had an ocean line that I still use now. Tuesday Morning had a lot of embellishments once and I bought tons to replace ones I had already used. This makes me nostalgic for all of the old companies. Remember when there were so many choices?

For me there is a strong correlation with the quantity I have (if I love it), and my willingness to use it. So the ones I use tend to be ones I acquired a pretty good amount of.
Loved and used a lot: Crate Paper Snow and Cocoa Crate Paper Oasis Pink Paislee Summer Lights Crate Paper Sunny Days Crate Paper All Heart
Loved but didn't really use: Crate Paper Chasing Dreams Crate Paper Here and There, and many other travel lines (just don't seem to scrap travel too much, or the lines are too "themed" for the pictures) October Afternoon Cakewalk (too age and theme specific I think) a couple of Cosmo Cricket lines

I love the MME Lost & Found, had to have all of it x3
I love anything Doodlebug and have been collecting it since 2003. I still have the some buttons and alpha rubons from back then. The latest collection "Baked with Love" is my new favorite.

Does anyone remember Chickaniddy Crafts? I loved their 365 collection from 2015. Back when everything else was all soft watercolors, I thought their palette was so fresh with its bright colors accented with black and white. Did I buy it? Yep. Have I used one piece of it? Nope. I just pulled it out to look at it, and I still love it, but it's not really my style anymore. It does have some really useable B sides, so I'm going to break it up by color and put it in my stash instead of keeping it as a collection.

I mostly like bright, happy colors. I like a lot of the Bella Blvd lines, some Doodlebug (I currently like "Baked with Love" too), I loved and used up: Bella Blvd Squeeze the Day - one of my faves last year Crate Paper Snow and Cocoa (I love it, and still use it) Bella Blvd - Plaids and dotty collection and the Besties ombre collection - I really like and use both of these a lot. Echo Park - Little Lumberjack. I used it on a bunch of my Christmas LO's this year, it has good woodgrains and buffalo check, which match my house. Shimelle - Never Grow Up - I loved some of the nature themed pp's in this line. I bought more of it. Illustrated Faith - She Blooms, it had lots of bright, fun colors. I had those flowers on everything for a while...lol. Sassafras Lass - back in the day, I used all of their crazy patterns, monsters, etc. Stuff I bought and haven't used/didn't like once I got it: Vicki Boutin Storyteller - it's mostly too muted for me. MME - Gingham Farm Collection - it's black and cream, don't know what I was thinking. It's pretty, but not what I like to scrap with. Paige Evans - Go the scenic route - I think it's just a little too busy for me, I'll probably give it to my daughter.

I splurged last year on some Stamperia paper...I don't really like it. Too busy, too floral..and it was expensive. I gave it to my mom.
There was also this (simple stories) vintage train/travel line I got, it is kind of depressing. Very sooty! I got it for Harry Potter pics, and scrapped the train and that was the end of it. I need to find a good home for that too.
Lately I am obsessing about Kaisercraft. There are just some amazing lines.

Basic Grey from back in the day. Bought every pack when it came out. Still have 95% of it and when I look at it, I have no clue what I will use it on. I recently took one of the lines and did cards with the 6x6 pad, it was so painful. Even making cards was difficult. 🤦🏻♀️ I was just going to add that you could unload this very easily. There are tons of people scouring the interwebs for Basic Grey!

Chatterbox! I collected this brand like a fiend right down to the card stock - worked at Memories during that time and it was impossible to resist! I have only used a smidge. I can never make it “me”. every year or so I take some out, shake my head and put it back. Yes! This, exactly! I absolutely hoarded Chatterbox. I have every room...all the cardstock, matching Bazzill, any embellishments they came out with. When I look at it, I certainly don't hate it. The patterns are fairly classic, but I just cannot make it work for my pages. I find the colours hard to combine with other lines too. I have so much, and I would like to use at least some of it, but I really struggle. I loved loved loved chatterbox’s stripes. Especially for non girly layouts. They mixed colors so well for the stripes. And their stuff coordinated so well. I only have a teeny bit of it left. But I loved chatterbox. Now I think there’s plenty of companies that have been able to do great things with stripes but back then no one seemed to do it as well.

I love every scrap of Bo Bunny Midnight Frost. I made a mini album with it. I have a hoarders amount of Basic Gray and my favorite was Out of Print and I also made a mini album with this paper line.

I've been working with Down on the Farm tonight. Ugh. Almost all of the sides are A sides. It is hard to do much with without bringing in a lot of other paper. It's cute though, but how do you have a farm page and the only B side is blue check. No red, no green, jet a whole ton of farm animals. And farm vehicles.

If you’re talking about the EP line, I agree. I picked up the 6x6 pad, and it’s only a few patterns that repeat like 6 times. That purchase is definitely a regret. The Doodlebug Down of the Farm is much more usable v

I also find myself wanting to buy all this grungy map paper. I must have 50 sheets of world maps, yet I have not ever been to Europe. I think I might cut it up to use for matting.

The Doodlebug line was more cutesy, and I had already it for other layouts when my kids were younger.

Basic Gray Fiction which was a J's exclusive, but I think I found the pad at Tuesday Morning. The colors work perfectly for pictures from the 1960s. I'm savoring every scrap... There was a companion pad called Fact, which went with it.

I scored some for dirt cheap at a going out of business store several years after it came out. I think I have a couple sheets of the mustard yellow graph paper left in my hoard stash.

There was a collection I was stalking for months called Pinkfresh Office Hours. When it finally came out out I ordered it and haven't used any of it. Now in truth I haven't scrapped any work photos, but the collection did not inspire me to do so. I was and am absolutely in love with Prima's pink Christmas lines and when it comes to using them, they just don't go with my photos. I love them because they aren't red and green. But I have so much of it left over because I don't use it. However the Prima lines Golden Coast and several others I still love and have so much of them I will hopefully use them again. Also Doodlebug. Love so many Doodlebug lines. Print some black & white Christmas photos. They will look great with Prima’s pink Christmas collections.
