I still love every bit of Dear Lizzy Neapolitan that I have left and still use it. It was love at first sight and I had to have it. Auburn Lane is another that I still drool over and love to use. I thought Crate Paper The Pier was love at first site too but I’ve rarely used it. I prefer a fresher, cleaner look I guess. Jen Hadfield Patio Party is another that I had to have but rarely use. I picked up so much from TM. Do you have collections that you really wanted so you got them and loved them as much as you thought you would? But do you also have collections that you really wanted but they ended up going unused?

I have pieces from all of Shimelle's later collections, but I can't bring myself to buy any of her earlier ones. Even when they're at JoAnn and I have a coupon. I know I won't use even half the papers. I love Shimelle, but I really dislike those early lines.

Shimelle's True Stories - it was a big deal online and I spotted it some time later at TM and grabbed the paper pad. I liked it but...I struggled to use it. I still have quite a few papers left.

I am sure I can think of more, but off the top of my head, Heidi Swapp's Emerson Lane was a a sleeper hit with me. I liked it well enough, and ordered it online. It was not love at first sight for me, but I took it to a crop and used almost every scrap of it. Even the papers that were not my favourite made it onto layouts that I love. I recently got my hands on some Honey and Spice and I am hoping I find it as easy to work with.

I’ve loved every Cocoa Vanilla collection I’ve purchased.

I’ve loved every Cocoa Vanilla collection I’ve purchased. Same. For some reason, I have no problem using it. Some collections I had hoarding tendancies. Love CV!

There was a collection I was stalking for months called Pinkfresh Office Hours. When it finally came out out I ordered it and haven't used any of it. Now in truth I haven't scrapped any work photos, but the collection did not inspire me to do so.
I was and am absolutely in love with Prima's pink Christmas lines and when it comes to using them, they just don't go with my photos. I love them because they aren't red and green. But I have so much of it left over because I don't use it.
However the Prima lines Golden Coast and several others I still love and have so much of them I will hopefully use them again. Also Doodlebug. Love so many Doodlebug lines.

Pink Paislee Moonstruck - absolutely loved it and ended up ordering more. Paige Evans Fancy Free - again, loved it and ordered more. Still have a small stash tucked away.
Lots of collections I really wanted but then were disappointed in. Most of Maggie Holmes comes to mind, and also anything that looks white online but is really cream in person - that's a big bummer for me.

Say Cheese...I thought it was so cute and I have a lot of Disney photos, but the colors of the papers don't generally match the colors of my photos and I find I rarely use it.

Back in 2006 I went to CKU Provo and there was a company name Daisy D's and they came out with this lime and magenta collection. Omgosh, I had to have every piece of it! I came home and found it very hard to use. What was I thinking?!?

I loved every single piece of Making Memories Vintage Findings collection. I used all the papers and loved them. But I absolutely LOVED all their embellishments: cork alphabet, metal findings, vintage ribbons. Gah I loved it. I still have some of the metal hardware left in my stash.

I really didn't love it once I had it my greedy little hands. I picked up a couple of pieces from Vicki Boutin Story Teller's line and loved it. I was sad I didn't get more.

Basic Grey from back in the day. Bought every pack when it came out. Still have 95% of it and when I look at it, I have no clue what I will use it on. I recently took one of the lines and did cards with the 6x6 pad, it was so painful. Even making cards was difficult. 🤦🏻♀️

Some of you mentioning Shimelle reminded me of a paper pad that I bought and have only used two papers from it. But I think this one is off topic. That would be a purchase of something I knew I didn’t love and probably wouldn’t use and in fact I have not used. Except for those two papers.

I am just here to confess that I did not love October Afternoon as much as other peas do. Maybe only 2-3 sheets of any one line, but that is about it.

October Afternoon's Midway. I love that collection- I bought a ton of it, made a ton of pages, and still have some left. Just this week I found more photos that I thought would be perfect with it. Crate Paper's The Pier. Gorgeous. I've made a bunch of pages, went back and bought the pad, too, and I'm planning to make even more pages with it this month. I wish I had more embellishments left. Basic Grey's Origins. I love green and this is so good for zoo and park pages. I found another pack of it a couple of years ago at Tuesday Morning and was so excited. BoBunny Zoology. Perfect for my zoo photos- I've used it several times and have some of this left, too, that I am hoarding for the perfect photos. I don't like newer BoBunny but that line was a classic. Basic Grey's Max and Whiskers. My all time favorite pet line ever. Rich colors (not primary or pink), not cutesy, versatile for dogs and cats- I've done quite a few layouts and plan to make more. Basic Grey's Tuxedo- This goes all the way back to the beginning of Basic Grey. It is an all black line but the papers are beautiful and grungy. Loved it, saved every scrap, wish I had a whole sheet left.
I probably have 20 Basic Grey collections and I've scrapped at least one page with each one. I still pull them out all of the time- the colors and patterns never get old. I've purged my huge 20 year old stash many times but I never throw out the Basic Grey. It always makes a beautiful page.
My newer favorites: Simple Stories Simple Vintage Great Escape- Already made four pages with it, went back and bought every last piece of it that was left, and can't wait to use it on more pages. The last 3 Vicki Boutin collections- Oh my gosh, the colors, patterns, grunge is to die for. Every time I make a page with it I buy more to replace it. I'm afraid of running out.
Collections I've bought that I never seem to use much: Anything Maggie Holmes. It is pretty and I used to buy it quite a bit, and then realized I scrap boys so I don't have much use for it. I used it the other day on a boy page, though, and it turned out nice. Anything Paige Evans. Her stuff is so bright and pretty and I like bright and pretty so I keep buying it but I never seem to use it.

Blasphemy! Just kidding. I usually don't care for cream based lines, but OA's look was so retro looking to my childhood that I love it. Plus, I live nearby so scored a lot at their annual warehouse sale.

Chatterbox! I collected this brand like a fiend right down to the card stock - worked at Memories during that time and it was impossible to resist!
I have only used a smidge. I can never make it “me”. every year or so I take some out, shake my head and put it back.

I have every room...all the cardstock, matching Bazzill, any embellishments they came out with. When I look at it, I certainly don't hate it. The patterns are fairly classic, but I just cannot make it work for my pages. I find the colours hard to combine with other lines too. I have so much, and I would like to use at least some of it, but I really struggle.

I love the retro-ness of October Afternoon, but hate the dinginess. I’m a huge fan of Steve Duncan and love that he’s able to work with a white base at Carta Bella.

I took out some Modern Homemaker paper recently and I felt like I'd love it if it looked cleaner. But I do love Midway. I feel like that collection had a fresh, but still retro, look.

Oh yes- I love Steve Duncan’s colour palette that lovely clear blue especially. He had the same aesthetic at OA but I agree, nice to have the white base as well

I like Crate Paper's Paper Heart collection from 2012 way more than I thought I would. I rarely buy paper pads but I did with this one, and only have one scrap left from the whole thing, a piece of the pink ledger which is too special to be used on any of the layouts I pull it out for.
On the subject of Crate Paper, I'm surprised no one has mentioned Wonder, which seemed like everyone was in love with at the time
