I used to really enjoy card making kits -- Basic Grey had a GREAT one. They were fun, time limited projects and good "warm ups" for crop parties! I saw this one but really wonder about it -- the entry price is great, the monthly price isn't bad, but I wonder about the quality of the project and product Does anyone have experience with this kit and/or company (it appears that there are a lot of other monthly kits with them) Card making kit company

Annie's? No, I've never heard of them. But I checked out the site and it looks like they have a ton of other kits, mostly yarn, so at least they're not total newbies/fly by night. The gallery has some nice card examples and the no obligation terms sound good. I think the risk is more about style than the quality - you'll figure out pretty quickly if the materials are any good, but who knows if the styles will be appealing in the long run.

I just cancelled my subscription to Annie’s. The quality of the paper, card stock and embellishments was great. The stamps are only OK. I cancelled because it’s just cut and glue, which isn’t all that bad, but I also didn’t care for the colors they use. Lots of saturated colors. I like light colors that you’d find in a springtime palette. The instructions that are included produce very basic cards, but of course, you can do your own design with the included supplies. A big positive is that they include enough supplies to make at least 2 of the examples, for a total of at least 8 cards. And you’d probably have enough left over to make tags. In the end, I just wasn’t all that excited to get my kit in the mail, so I cancelled.
