How and where do you store your large Silhouette Mats? Mine are just laying in a pile and I end up having to move them from place to place as they are always in the way. I saw a YouTube video where they stored their Circuit mats hanging on a Command Hook, but the Silhouette mats don't have a hole to hang with. Have you tried cutting a hole in yours? Other ideas?

You can certainly cut a hole in yours outside the cutting area. I’d use a Crop-o-dile or something like that.
I store mine standing up on a shelf in my Expedit. I have a large storage box on that shelf full of my border dies. There’s a 1” gap along the side that is the perfect width for my mats. I keep my 24” mat laying flat along the top of my Jetmaxx cubes that are under my scrap table.

I have a weird spot between my tabletop and the shelves underneath that gives me space to store my ScanNCut mats flat, out of the way, and protected from dust. Hopefully you can find a spot to stash them. I used to have mine under a bunch of stuff and it was such a nuisance to get them out.

My 12x12 ones are slipped between two standing 12x12 paper holders. My 12x24" one is standing against the wall between 2 packs of wide format printer paper.

Or use one of these clips you probably have hanging around your craft room. Attach then hang it on the command hook.  |

Thanks, lots of good ideas. I am sure I have some binder clips around here somewhere. If not, I'll see if dh has something that can chop a hole in one.

I have a large cutting mat on my desk and I store them under the mat so they don't get bent and my kid keeps her grubby hands off of them.  |
