When pre-cutting electronic die cuts in preparation for a crop, my die cut always has adhesive on the back and sticks to everything. It drives me bonkers. Does anyone else have this problem? Am I doing something wrong? I usually use the standard tack/grip mats. Would the Light tack/grip work better? (Obviously I have no need for the Strong tack/grip. Ha!)

This is also the case for me...once I peel it off, especially a newer mat, it is always faintly sticky. I am also using the regular mats, and I don't think you are doing anything wrong. I use my mats to death, and find that once they get older the issue gets less and less. When packing the die cuts, I just put a piece of copy paper/scrap paper against the die cut and then put it in with my papers. I don't find that they stick significantly enough for it to be an issue with them sticking to the scrap.

The Blue lightgrip mat is for cardstock. I use the Green standardgrip for vinyl. Also I have switched to the brand Realike for my Cricut machine. They are on Amazon. Cheaper and so much better! They do not come so sticky like the Cricut ones but work really well. They remind me of the old Cricut mats where I didn't feel like I had to pry off my materials!

Can you separate the diecuts with wax paper between them so they don't stick together?

Give them a pat with an embossing/anti static thingie?
I just take my Cameo with me. But, the place I crop at has space for me to do that.

I cut all my paper crafts on the blue "light grip" mat and haven't had an issue with the paper being overly sticky. I would also suggest purchasing off-brand on Amazon. I only buy Cricut brand mats if they are on sale. Otherwise, I get the Nicapa brand. They work great and you get 3 in a pack for about the cost you would pay for one Cricut brand mat.

Thank you for the replies. I played around with some of the suggestions this weekend. I found I was most comfortable if I dusted with my anti-static powder bag AND placing on wax paper. (This method I didn't have to purchase anything new.) My next retreat isn't until July so I won't be able to tell how well it works for awhile. If I still have issues then I'll look into getting the Light grip mat.

I bought a Cricut a few weeks ago and I use the light grip mat. My cardstock isn't sticky on the back at all once I take my die cuts off.
Would recommend the light grip mat. It seems to be working great for me.
