So, how do y’all get excited about weaving in well over 200 yarn ends? My own fault for not doing it as I worked. Now that the blanket is done, it’s sat for a week as I try to gather the motivation to spend hours on the darned ends. And is there any super quick way to do it that I haven’t thought of? I just wanna get it done, then work on the fun stuff again - blocking, and the border (whine whine)! And yes, I’ve learned a valuable lesson I work over the ends as I go, it's much easier that darning them all in. I think Lucy of Attic 24 has a good post on doing this, I'll see if I can find it.

Ignore my bin of paperwork and stuff I don't want to deal with, (and Christmas gift bags I need to put away now too), I was cleaning some stuff out this week. I should've taken a better picture of it before I gave it to her. 🦈

I fixed that string hanging out after I took the picture. I was watching a youtube video learning what C2C crocheting was, and the guy used his hook to quickly and easily fix ends. I had worked all the others in as I went.

I have a bad habit of getting excited about a new hobby, buying a bunch of stuff, starting it and then quitting. I'm looking forward to starting the next project.

I was sure that Lucy had done a tutorial post about ends that was really detailed but I can't find it either. I did find this one by Cherry Heart Crocheting over the ends

lainey love the watermelon socks idea, maybe some black French knots to represent the seeds?

Oh, Dammit! I need a new pattern like I need a hole in my head. But I will most likely buy...because...why not?

Exactly. One or two won't hurt. It would be rude not to.

I’m usually a paper crafter or earring maker but I saw something similar on Etsy and decided I needed one. I wish I had been able to find better screen or had been able to pull it tighter, but I’m quite pleased with the result. If you click the photo it will be upright.

I've stopped wearing danglers because of the masks - I lost one of my favourite Christmas ones because of the stupid mask, and they hurt when they get caught. So I'm alternating between my studs, and getting fed up with not being able to find what I want.

I may still try that, maybe add a small square.

Unfortunately it wasn’t recommended in the instructions for this blanket, and I thought it was because of a particular reason. In hindsight I should have done it any way. Live and learn! 190-something more yarn ends to work in

It hangs in the bathroom.

I do love my cute dangly earrings (I make them so I have TONS) but right now, they're a no go. I wear 3 pairs of these: www.etsy.com/listing/202579145/18-g-niobium-12-12-mm-hoop-earrings?ref=shop_home_active_3&crt=1and one of this one in my cartilage: www.etsy.com/listing/160137905/niobium-38-10-mm-hoop-earrings-choose-a?ref=shop_home_active_1&crt=1

I've spent all afternoon making this, it's the Devon pouch and my first time doing this pattern. I was feeling pretty proud of myself until I noticed the unintentional 'design feature'!

Perfect design "feature". It's a great pouch! Are there pockets inside?

What am I missing? Looks pretty cool to me. Maybe the words on the strip across the top being upside down? Regardless, it’s a cool pouch.

The yarn for the rectangular shawl has been balled. Haven’t started that scarf though. Decided it would be better to reacclimate myself to knitting with a shawl which was simply meant for when I didn’t want to think about a pattern. One section remaining.
