I got a job! We moved to MO in the summer and I started looking in September. I work in the medical field but don't touch sick people.  In NC I worked in rehabilitation, case management and revenue cycle, and here I just started applying for jobs I knew I could do. I had some interviews and one offer, but not what I really wanted to do. I thought, try a long shot and apply a little higher, you never know (in the office of the vice chairman of one of the big departments). And that's my new job!! We hit it off at both interviews, what I know how to do is what they need, and it's one step under a managerial role in health care! My feeling is a little bit of panic, that they have so much faith in me and I hope I don't goof it up. But mainly I'm just excited that this worked out. I hope everyone who is job hunting finds their perfect fit (and I know there have been lots of posts on this!) |

Congratulations! !! You will do great! I was just wondering the other day about your house, has it sold? No.  We've painted, dropped the price, added $1000 buyer's agent incentive, and STILL no one goes to see it. But that's a problem for another day. |

Congrats!!! I was officially let go on 10/31. To date I have applied at 62 jobs. Out of that a handful of interviews.. and still looking.  I am working PT at Target and do like it.. but would like to get something soon (I'm an Administrative Assistant)... that discount at Target though is NICE.. I love it... lol.. |
