That really was "a day," angel97701. I know it's one you've had too often. Your boys are so fortunate to have you to call Mom. I hope you can find a little distraction tonight, and then a peaceful night's rest. (((hugs)))

angel97701 you did have a day! I'm so sorry. I hope they get all the red tape figured out soon for DS. And I'll echo msliz, the boys are lucky to call you mom. Hugs to you I had thought the same thing about this months challenges - I want to keep working on them (or start? ) I was thinking of posting a challenge next month that includes the 28-4-28 challenges. Now that the cold is finally moving out here, I want to get the boxes out of my living room and to the donation center. It's Rudy weekend, so I'm not sure I'll make the Saturday crop, but I sure do want to! Has anyone completed all of the 28-4-28 challenges to date?

Has anyone completed all of the 28-4-28 challenges to date? I got off to a good start, but I've fallen way behind. I'd say I got about half ? of them done. I'll still be working on them after the month is done, certainly. In the past, I'm pretty sure someone has added it to the challenge list for March, and probably April too! Sketchtember is like that too, with carryover into the following month's challenge list. Hope you get your boxes moved. It's like a breath of fresh air, getting clutter out of the way!

I’m about 5 challenges behind. Hoping to get a couple done this weekend.
I did get my vaccine yesterday and so far just a sore arm and maybe a smidge of fatigue today.

I'm just getting started on the challenges, but I've got plans laid out and hope to get some of them done this weekend. schroema that's awesome! I was so excited when I saw my cities health board called. I have signed up everywhere I can to get the vaccine. It was an update to let me know there is no update msliz I can't wait to get this stuff out of here! Decluttering is so freeing and refreshing! Now if I could just learn to purge my scrap supplies lol. Actually I have, and regretted it, so I do not purge any craft supplies

I'm a Diva this month but I just wanted you to know, since you probably don't read the Exercise with Us thread, that dear kellyr21's mom passed away. We can all be keeping her in our thoughts and sending her some love. Um I lost track... I’m a Joyful this month. I’m not surprised ... the days all seem to run together this month. We had to make a chart for DH to help him answer the question “did I take my pills?” More snow here, about 3 inches, easy to shovel. Whoever on this board that recommended the British series “New Tricks”’ we have been enjoying using it as a little break. Thanks. We’re also enjoying the new lady version of The Equalizer. We’re supposed to have spring like weather on Wednesday, so there is that to look forward to.

It’s ok jjpeapea I forget that stuff too lol. But yay! Lots of points for our team! 😂😂 It’s going to be almost 70 here today! And then normal colder temps tomorrow. Boo. I’m finally working my way through the challenges. Now to post them. I’m not sure why that seems like such a chore. It’s very easy lol. Complete procrastinator here though 🙋🏻♀️ I hope everyone had a good start to the week!

Oh kellyr21 don't even worry about participating right now unless you want to. I can't remember if grammadee is on my team this month, but if she is, I'll be she's got us covered lol. Thanks for rooting us on! I'm thinking of you too.

Sorry, joyfulnana, but I am a Diva this month! Got called in once before by a tag, and I kinda forgot which team I was on so I posted here then, so no wonder you’re confused! While I am here though, can I remind people to sign up for March teams?

Yesterday was an organize and throw away day . . . I did a few more bathroom drawers (my challenge in the Organization challenge), finished up sorting and putting away the scrap ribbons. Yes, they ended up in ROYGBIV, which works so well for me! Went through old craft paint markers and pens and threw away 2/3's of them. Bout time I guess!
I also have a box were I put all my new purchases of dies, embossing folders and stamps. I try to use them at least once before they get put in their regular use home. BUT the box was so full AND I had forgotten about some of the fun new things I have . . . it's been over a year since I've purchased some of the items!
I also catalog dies and stamps that match, or just dies in an inventory spread sheet. (But DH was on my computer last night so I didn't get that done.) I do it mostly because of insurance purposes and so I don't purchase duplicates . . . if we were to have a home fire or something I know I've got $$$$$ money investing in the items in my room. Having photos and inventories helps recoup the cost if you have a claim. Ask me how I know? When I was in 6th grade we had a house fire in our rental on-base home. My dad was the assistant fire chief . . . and NOT on duty that day but working on a car in the base workshops. Believe it our not he was the first one there (as the trucks arrived) and was the one to vent the roof. Base housing was built in the 1940s, and our home had a plexiglass shelf above the stove and contact paper in the kitchen both extreme fire hazards but this was the early 70's. Mom had a grease fire on the stove . . . . The entire center of the home burnt, linen closet, kitchen, all my dad's awards from his days at Edward's AFB, etc. Our clothing was all smoke damaged, canned goods were washed and returned without labels and so on. I also had a friend who lost his home to a fire, and had a great deal of vintage clothing and household items. If you don't have things documented it is almost impossible to get replacement costs. OK my PSA is done now!
DS is better this week, thankfully. Still waiting to hear from his Services/Case Manager at the Developmental Disability office, as well as the Medicaid plan denial and then approval because of DS's DD. Also chasing down other possible support networks in our city of about 100K.
As for other DS21, I heard a song on Christian radio, what resonated within me as Mom is I want to SPEAK life to him. I will continue to scrapbook his younger years, and text message the finished pages to him. He doesn't remember the good times in our home due to his early childhood trauma PTSD. I am also finishing his senior year wrestling album, so will send it bit by bit.
My Moderna Covid vaccine is now Thursday night instead of last Sunday. Not sure how I will react but preparing for being down for the count for a few days. Groceries, laundry, etc done before Thursday evening. Then IF I don't react much it's all a bonus time!
I'm just glad that I am caught up on business paperwork for now and the taxes are at the accountant. DS15 is relatively stable, we just are always checking for contraband. So I am feeling less stressed. It's almost time to start seedlings for my greenhouse spring season and outdoor garden season. Yeah!

I'm so glad life is less stressful today. Isn't it amazing what a song and the signs of spring can do to lift one's spirits? I'm very glad younger DS is having a better week too.

Received my second Covid vaccination of Moderna last night. Feeling not so good today. Headache since 3 am, achy everything, and my temp is up by 3 degrees F. Ack! Kinda of knew I would react so dinner is already planned and I am doing the bare minimum today and probably tomorrow too.

sorry you are not feeling well angel97701. Take it easy! Rest and liquids, just like a cold. DH got his second shot Tuesday. His arm hurt less than the first and he said he just didn't feel quite right. I swear he was crankier. He seems better today. I think sending pictures of your pages is great. It says "I am thinking of you" without a perception of nagging.

angel97701 I hope you are starting to feel better! I'm envious of all of you that are getting the vaccine. This past week has been a blur and work has kicked my a$$! I'm looking forward to some crafty time this evening! I am slowly working through the 28-4-28 challenges and will continue on with them in March. I can't believe there's only one more day to get challenges done and then it's time to collect points again! 2021 is definitely going by faster than 2020, I'm not sure how much I like that lol. Music, sunshine after days and days of grey skies and exercise can totally turn my mood around. I need more of that exercise piece though lol.

Hi all—jumping in late this month, but better late than never I suppose! We moved this month so most of the month has been moving, sorting, cleaning, and organizing. I absolutely LOVE my new office/craft room. It has lots of room and lots of storage. I’m also using it as my work from home office, so unfortunately I had to get the work stuff set up and organized first. I finally got most of it put away and I’m now “testing it out” to make sure the crafty stuff is in a good spot where I’ll use more of it. I started the 28-4-28 a couple days ago and I’m making cards. Part of my 100 day challenge is to make cards to send to people, so I’m getting a good start on that. I don’t know that I’ll finish all the challenges, but I’m about 1/3 of the way through them. As I’ve been putting stuff away, I do have a bunch of naked chipboard (back to the original post—lol). I’m not sure if/how I’ll use it, but I have it if I need it! Hopefully I’ll be a contributing member to the team this month. The last couple of months, I’ve been a bit out of the loop as we were planning to move and then actually moving. I hope to be back more consistently now, but the way 2021 seems to be following in 2020s footsteps, we shall see!

Setting up a new craft space is always so fun! I had mine in my home office at first. But after working from home for the last 5 years, spending my crafty time in my workspace become a no go. So now I have no dedicated space and bounce between my bedroom and dining room lol.

I made a bunch of cards in February and because I moved into a new craft room, I did A LOT of organizing. I estimated an average of an hour a day to calculate into my February points. My total for the month is 815 (thank goodness for organizing points and for no-spend points!)
