Today's challenge is to PILE up the diecuts on your project. These can be punched with a punch, cut with a manual diecut machine, electronic diecut machine, fussy cut...Examples are flowers, circles, triangles, squares, diamonds, stars, hearts... use as many as you can muster...in a cluster! LOL TWIST: Use at least two different TYPES of diecuts...Examples are vellum, washi tape, cardstock (store bought, and/or from the options above.) You will receive 1 point for the diecuts, and 2 bonus points (Total) for using at least 2 types of diecuts. Take an additional 2 bonus points for using more than two types. Total points for completing all items is 5 points. My layout example: All of the leaves were cut from a manual machine. The flowers are store bought. They are mostly cardstock, with vellum pieces thrown in. Can't wait to see what y'all come up with! grammadee Does that make sense?

I love your layout and I love this challenge! I have a few hiking layouts to make, and I have lots to botanical dies. I hope mine turns out even half as lush as yours. The textures from all those layers! Great page KikiPea

KikiPea I also love your layout! The emotions behind it are special and the look of it really enhances the photo (and emotion). The white space is well used as well.

Thank you for the challenge, KikiPea . I got a lot of dusting done, thanks to your challenge of piling on the die cuts. I would push the go button on my cutting machine, and go dust a little, then load up another shape, press go and dust some more. I cut glitter paper and cardstock.

Love all the snowflakes and all the blue and colors. You can feel the cold!

Your fall layout--as are all your LO's, KikiPea--is gorgeous! Love all the fall colours and images tucked in around that wondeerful photo. jjpeapea, I LOVE the way you piled on the snowflakes! You really give the impression of piles of snow. Goes perfectly with the photo and the story. I would not dare walk away from my cutting machine while it was in the middle of a job. I think my tools are related to the ones in the Sorcerers' Apprentice, and soon my room would be drowning in snowflakes cut from all of my supplies and maybe even some of my finished albums... At the very least, the page I had fed it would have shifted some way, so either the cuts would have come out wonky or the whole thing would be jammed.

Here is my take on this challenge. I have hearts and circles cut from cs, suede, vellum, and foil tape, as well as some precut tags and labels. These photos are from 9 years ago. My two youngest were not yet parents, and these photos are of them with their niece and nephew. It was a sad occassion--my mil's funeral--but the little ones managed to keep some of the joy in family.
Points: two pages created & shared (4). One 28-4-28 challenge + twist + bonus (7). R-3 six photos for Donna challenge (6). P-5 three packs of stickers (3), S/I-1 arrows (2), S/I-2 diecut circles, doilies, hearts and arrows on each page (8), S/I-3 six hearts (2) C/M -1 pink (2). Total: 32

This was a challenge for me bc I don’t usually “pile on” embellishments! I used store bought flowers, store bought felt hearts, machine cut sneakers and chipboard glitter letters

You did a great job of "piling on the embellishments", schroema! Love that you got so many different textures in there. You will be a convert, yet!

I decided to combine both your first die cut challenge with this one...and so we have...lots of feathers! Some die cut from glitter CS, some fussy cut from pp, one hand-drawn on scraps-covered paper for the background! 50943469978_993338f1b2_o by kirstendrew, on Flickr

Okay, so I feel as though I have totally cheated for this layout, as I used a template that already had all of the circle and heart die cuts layered on it. I just had to add the papers, photos and journalling, and a bit of paint and gesso. I also added some vellum die cuts and added styles to some of the hearts to make them epoxy instead of cardboard, so that I could meet the challenge. Template is Layerworks 1436 by Studio KPD.

schroema, I especially like the sneakers marching all through the page to represent the walk. grammadee sorry about the sad occasion but it is so true, having little ones keeps everyone busy and focusing on the wheel of life ... AussieMeg, so much joy and yummy candies! And yummy food. Are the photos and story from just a few days ago?
