You cannot IMAGINE my panic when I saw a message from grammadee after work that my 28-4-28 post hadn't posted! I'm so sorry - I put it up last night and I don't know if I didn't finish it up (you know, late at night and you do something crazy like turn off your computer) or if it just messed up virtually, but I am so so sorry! Here goes again! RECIPE Challenge: Virtual connections During this past year, I'm sure most people have connected with loved ones, or taken classes, or worked online. virtual virtuoso by kirstendrew, on Flickr Please use: 1. a grid of some sort - whether that be part of your design or part of your paper like my "tiled" paper 2. a ticket or tag, to represent the tickets we haven't been able to use 3. ONE manufacturer only/mainly, to represent the isolation of the year! 4. At least 3 hearts - staying in touch with those we love 5. the colour Blue, as we've all been! 5 points for challenge team members. And the twist is to do a layout about your virtual life/connections, or to use create a "keeping in touch" type of card.

This is an awesome challenge, kitbop, and an AMAZING sample page! I think I will wait for this one until I can scrap my dh's virtual birthday party. I want to have those photos printed--so many of them--rather than try printing them all at home. I think I need to find a laptop outline on Silhouette to put the photo grid in...

No worries at all kitbop - I am so far behind that you could have posted in a week and I still wouldn't be caught up to #9! Thanks for another great recipe, I have an idea of the photos I want to use for this one.

Lovely layout - really like the grid paper on the diagonal!
Using a “recipe” is not usually how I approach scrapbooking, but I really enjoyed the last one and I’m looking forward to this!

Here is my recipe LO. Painting Class by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Authentique pp (both grid and background). I went looking for this as soon as I saw your page kitbop. Ticket sticker. Blues. Thought I had 3 hearts on the second page, but if I got only two, there are hearts on the PL card on the first one. Didn't get the twist, but may come back to this one when I have those bd pic's printed.

grammadee, no wonder that paper came right to your mind when you read the challenge - perfect. I like how the challenge was to use blue and blue really works with your pots.

jjpeapea I love that floral paper in the background and the frames around your photos. grammadee I love that grid paper! Here’s my layout- I’m cheating slightly on using one manufacturer. Everything is from my scrap bin EXCEPT the cassette patterned paper so maybe that counts as just one???

Here's mine. The old man and the new puppy. Kind of minimal because there just wasn't room for a lot of anything after the photos. Shimelle blue grid and stickers, chipboard tags, and 3 hearts.

schroema, I love your cheerful strips of paper and how they pick up on the colors in the clothes in the photos. All organized in a grid pattern. AussieMeg, Cute doggie! And the clean, fresh look of your page. msliz your photos tell your story so well. I do like the eager doggies in the lower right corner. They're happy to see the dogs get loving attention.
