Here is a plan to use up a bunch of scraps. Cut them into squares or rectangles of varying sizes. Glue these pieces in a grid pattern on a sheet of cardstock. You can go for an all over quilt type pattern, or decide to cover just a part of the page with your grid.
I chose to trim my grid into a heart shape for my February calendar page:
The challenge (1 points) is: use at least FIVE different pp scraps and arrange them into a grid pattern as a background of any size. The TWIST (1 point) is to cut that grid pattern into some kind of shape. TWIST 2 (2 points) if that shape is a heart. Then add a Bonus of 5 points if you have done ALL of this!
Full disclosure, I was inspired by several pages I had pinned in Pinterest. I was lucky in how my heart turned out. I glued down the grid pieces lightly, then cut a large heart inset inside another heart on my Silhouette. The blade actually cut the sb paper only on the inside cut, so I was able to use that whole piece on my page. It's like alot of my kitchen recipes--probably couldn't replicate if I tried!
Here is the LO that inspired me, from Kylie's Kreations Blogspot I had meant to lift this, but ended up making mine less flowery, more simple. But hey, if you have some diecuts you want to throw on your page, go for it!
You don't need an electronic cutter for this. Scissors or an xacto knife with a stencil would work, too. Hope you try this. Hope you have fun!

Looking forward to seeing your scraps bashed onto a page, schroema! I have been pinning pages with lots of different ways to use them. One page I saw--can't remember if I pinned it--looked like a busy bulletin board, with pieces of paper seemingly randomly stuck down; some edges torn or curled up or down; and then one big b&w photo on top. It actually looked really cool!

jjpeapea, your circle is great! The shape, the colours & patterns, all say peace and relaxation. Perfect for your cruise photo. Love that feather, kitbop. The perfect backdrop for a page about Swan Lake.
