Welcome to the weekend everyone! I hope you all find plenty of happy scrappy time this weekend. Today I have three sketches for you, all taken from a digital scrapbook template. The original is 12x12, and I have also made a double page and a TN size. The twist is to use some kind of stamp on the background. Here is the 12x12 sketch, which is based on a 'Sparkle and Shine' template by Fiddle-Dee-Dee.
And here is my layout. I used a new kit called 'I Will Survive', which is a free download this month from Digi Scrap Parade.
Here is the double page sketch:
And my layout. I used the 'December' kit from The Digital Press again, which is the same kit that I used on last week's double layout, because the photos are from the same day. And finally, here is the TN sketch: I hope you'll have fun with these!

I love this sketch, both as a double and single page layout. I can't wait to play with this one!

AussieMeg, you make the prettiest pages! Love all the different sketches. I needed a kick start for the next LO I have in mind. Flowers won't work for me, but the photo arrangement and the circles will, so I will get on this tomorrow.

Flowers won't work for me, but the photo arrangement and the circles will, so I will get on this tomorrow. I made sure I used photos that had girls in them so I could use flowers - you know me! I think the only reason I use so many flowers is that I don't know what else to use for embellishments, except for stars and hearts. And you can only do so many layouts with flowers/stars/hearts. And do you know what? When I was doing these pages I went through the gallery and looked at a lot of layouts by you and other Peas to get some ideas for embellishments other than flowers.

Here's mine! I used the background feather in place of the diagonal line of dots and eliminated the solid lines of pp across but otherwise used the sketch for a lot of the placements. 50943469978_993338f1b2_o by kirstendrew, on Flickr

There is love in the Gallery for you kitbop . Here is my two pager based on the sketch. I mimic'd the dots with a round applicator and TH distress ink, and stamped the date and the arrows. It was dark this afternoon when I photographed it. IRL the background is white and the whole LO is a little less purple.
POINTS: 2 pages created & shared (4). 28-4-28 + bonus (7). R-3 Five photos for the Donna challenge (5). R-1 Sketchy Saturday (5), P-5 three different sheets of stickers (3), S/I Arrows both pages (2), S/I-2 circles, hearts, words, and title shape diecut (4), S/I-3 at least 3 hearts on each page (2), C/M 2 monochrome pages (2), T-1 torn and inked edges two pages (4), T-2 stamped with an ink applicator, two different arrow stamps and a date stamp (4), W/T1 two fonts (1), N/S-2 two small photos (2), N/S-3 the 4 in the title (5). Total: 49

Here's mine. My main photo block is elongated a little bit, but I still managed to get most of the sketch components in there. Thanks for the inspiration AussieMeg!

aussiemeg great sketch! I love how you used so many patterns in your one page LO. kitbop that feather is gorgeous! Perfect for dance photos! Two for one deal for me! I don’t normally make such similar LO for my kids’ albums, but I had such similar pics I decided to go for it this time!

grammadee I love the circle and arrow stamps and how you repeated the circles in your patterned paper.
msliz great cluster of feathers and flowers. I love your color palette as well
jjpeapea great use of lots of patterns. I intended to use more patterns but it just wasn’t working for me.

AussieMeg, your examples were very inspiring. I kept referring back to it when I was trying to do my layout. grammadee, I enjoyed your interpretation, and your use of elements like wheels msliz, I like how you make it work for your number of photos because the photos told the story that needed to be told. Lovely clusters. schroema, of course I love your stencils and how you made one layout do double duty. I love how the dots pick up the color in your papers AND the kids pumpkins. Clever!

Beautiful blues on your page, jjpeapea. Love the closeup of the flower. Glad Dad was able to pin it on to make the evening special. Is that gold metallic spritz on there? Your Halloween pages are FUN, schroema. Love the lime green with the purple and orange. Great way to double up on challenges, using the stencil to create your circles on the pages.

grammadee see how I snuck some purple into my son’s book? He said purple was ok for a Halloween page. 😂

Here's my take on the sketch and the twist. I love that you are including TN sketches, it's on my long list of things I want to do. Happiness by Joyfulnana, on Flickr
