Y'all, I pulled out my Basic Grey Notch and Die Tool for a card today! I needed to attach some parchment to the inside of a swing card, and it was just the thing. I thought of the Peas because that is one tool that often comes up in "regrets" threads. I probably don't use it but once a year or so (if that!), but when I want it, I want it.

I had to look that one up as I had no clue what it was. Glad you got some new use out of it.

I have quite a few “rarely used but too good to purge” items I have the room to store them so I keep them

So glad I kept my red lever sizzix because my DD is using it for her art.
I haven’t purged much so I don’t have too many regrets. I do sometimes regret getting overwhelmed with my moms craft stuff and just giving it away to anyone who asked.
Most especially my grandmas sewing machine because I have my other grandmas sewing machine and Ex was like how many old sewing machines do you need.
I could have used that one for crafts it was smaller. 😕 we had the room to store it.

I donated my grandmother’s sewing machine and still regret it - at least I’m in good company.

So this weekend I used my Scan N Cut, my MISTI (prefer my TH platform), never before used stamps and dies. I impressed even myself.

Frankly I almost never get rid of tools. I have sewing tools from before the Nixon years. And my sewing machine, given to me used while I was in college (Carter years), is older than I am. I treasure good tools.
