Hi furryp. I had bad COVID and was in the hospital for months and still suffering.

Yeah I think she’s shown her crazy a few times. I hope you can get your money back. She sounds completely unhinged.

Have you talked to your card company to let them know about non-delivery of your purchase? I don’t know if there is a time frame, the card company might be able to get you a refund. It also might be wise to get screen shots of your inquiry and her reactions.

Paying for product that you never received is absolutely unacceptable. You have been robbed.

I'm not sure what you can do if your credit card company won't back you up. Her reputation is already garbage, so appealing to any sense of decency on social media won't get you anywhere. Likewise, trashing her on social media won't mean anything to her either. She should at least offer you a tracking number, if she actually shipped your order. 

I used to be a semi-frequent IR customer, but I haven't bought anything in over a year (not so much a fan of her behavior). However, I never unsubscribed from her email newsletter and every time I get one (usually 2-3 times a week), there is a huge explanation about which items are backordered/preordered and how she's not going to do preorders anymore but will make an exception just for this one new stamp set because it's so cool...it honestly makes my head hurt. It seems that she tends to design currently-relevant stamps (like one with Bernie Sanders/the mittens released the day after the inauguration) and sell them as preorders without actually having the item on hand. (I think this business model can work for some industries/situations, but it doesn't seem to be terribly organized on her end.) However, this is no excuse for the owner's behavior or even the 4 month(!!) waiting period, and she should be extra polite to customers who have questions/concerns about their orders, given how confusing her system is.

And after you have seen one, the rest are just kind of obnoxious to look at.

I agree. I really think you should go back to your card company and let them know the items were never shipped. That’s not an issue with post office or other delivery service, so it doesn’t qualify as “non-delivery.” If she took your money and never even sent what you ordered, then it is a form of theft. Last I heard, most card companies can reverse the charge and get the money back under those circumstances. If the customer service rep for your card company still insists it’s “non-delivery” then ask to talk to their supervisor. There is no excuse for this, and your card company is supposed to go after companies that take the money but do not ship what was ordered.

Thanks for your perspective. I’ll admit I’m still angry that there are people who use other people to get to major players in the craft community. I’m allowed to be angry about it AND talk about it.

They just delete things and hope you guys forget about it. And you do! It’s a double standard I’ve struggled to get used to in the craft community. You can see my struggles as apparently most of you are watching my personal Instagram. If you choose to judge me based on my struggles, there is nothing I can do about that.

I’m new to this whole site! I apologize for lumping you all together. That was premature of me, for sure. I should do some exploring perhaps! 🥴🙈
