One of the cardmakers (Ivana Camdzic) I follow on IG just announced her new company. It's called Pigment Craft Co and it's launching on March 1. There's only one sneak peek so far but it does look gorgeous so I thought I'd share! Also, it's based in Canada, so Canadians will have better shipping options! I'm not sure who is a Canadian Pea here, but feel free to tag them in this thread if you know. https://www.instagram.com/p/CLmUdN4rZcZ

Cute, but I am going to stay away. I need more stamps like I need a hole in the head.

I love that there are people still willing to jump into a new business. Thank you for sharing this. I can't wait to see what all they have.

I'm not sure if I'll be a customer because I've learned that I (personally) prefer die cutting over (intricate/layered) stamping and so far, the designs look heavy on stamping, but it's quite beautiful!

I didn't realize they were in Canada. I'm interested to see their prices and shipping rates, I can't imagine they'll be able to compete with US shipping rates. Exciting, though!

That's very pretty and it's nice to see more small businesses launching. Unfortunately I definitely don't need any more flower stamps!

They launched this morning. I like some of their things and that it’s all in Canadian dollars, but unfortunately shipping costs to me in Québec for one stamp and die set are higher than shipping costs to the US for the same order. That will be a no for me. Sad, I had high expectations.

Or is shipping within Canada usually very expensive?

Ivanna seems to be using a system of cost by weight for Canadians but flat rates for Americans, i.e. shipping cost for purchases under $100 is $16.99, over $100 is $12.99. My one stamp and die came to $51 and shipping by weight was $17.45, plus tax. Honestly, as much as I would like to support small businesses, I can never justify the additional shipping fees. I always seem to need something they don’t sell and end up purchasing from a large one-stop online store that sells many different products and brands.

Not that I think she's gouging her customers...just that shipping costs lots of money! And as much as us customers love free shipping...shipping is never truly free, someone always has to pay for it.
