I'm sorry. My dad also got it, he is 77. He had COPD, but his case of COVID was mild. Hoping you dad gets the right treatment.

So sorry to hear about your parents. The BAM BAM that she received might have been the monoclonal antibodies infusion of bamlanivimab. That is what they called it when I got mine. It worked really well for me and I hope it does the same for her.

Thanks for all the messages everyone! I have been away for a few days. My parents are doing better. My dad went home Saturday night. My niece is there helping them--she had Covid in January. So far, my sister is testing negative, thank goodness. She has been in isolation since the day she took them to the hospital. Fingers crossed she doesn't come down with it. She is the caregiver for her disabled husband, who is bedridden unless someone helps him. She does have a 13 year old son who helps, but he is in school. Thankfully, my niece is there to help as well. (My parents live next door to my sister) Thanks again for all the messages!
