Hello everyone, and welcome to the weekend! What a hard slog it's been, what with all the technical issues I've had. A few months ago a broke my lovely big PC monitor, but at least I had my MacBook to to scrap on. Then as I mentioned last week, I killed my MacBook. So I had to go back to using my PC and an old version of Photoshop that keeps crashing, and an old monitor that s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-s everything out because the resolution is wackadoo. And then to top things off, the second hard drive on my PC just up and died two days ago! Thank goodness I had just uploaded all of DSO's work invoices to my iCloud two days earlier. I have no idea what else was on there that I might have lost, but thankfully no photos (maybe some old videos). Consequently I have only been able to do one sample layout this week. And I have no idea what it's going to look like IRL, because it looks all stretched to me. This is a PageMaps sketch from one of Becky Fleck's books:
And this is a double page sketch I made from it: And here is my sample layout using the double page sketch. I used the Storyteller 2019 January kit by Just Jaimee. The twist this week is to use at least three different fonts OR at least three different colours in your title or journaling. Take 1 point for meeting the challenge, 1 point for meeting the twist on any project, and 5 bonus points for meeting the challenge AND twist on one project. I hope you find something here to inspire you, and have fun! I'm off to see if I can pick up a new and hopefully cheap monitor so my 12x12 layouts don't look like they're 16x12!

Oh no! I hope this is the end of your computer woes!
I love the double page sketch in this and your page is gorgeous, the colours are so pretty together.

Thanks for the sketch, AussieMeg. Looks like that 2 pager is one I could use over and over. Hope to give it a try next week. So sorry about your computer issues. Hope you can find a monitor that makes scrapping a little less stressful. This LO is beautiful--amazing you could DO that without being able to see it properly.

I love the sketch; I love your version! Nothing stretched out here. I really appreciate your extra effort. I totally understand computer woes. Man vs. machine.

My sketch has some flaws, I fully admit. Like I need thicker stickers and somehow my paper got creases ... But it brought back sweet memories.
