Hey everyone! It's a new month! What's everybody working on? We need some updates pics on all the temperature blankets going on and I'm looking forward to seeing some new colors as our temperatures start warming up. I'm still working on the Christmas blanket. I'm debating just a standard border. We will see. I still have one more section to go. More trees. And I'm looking forward to starting my Waroo shawl. My friend is winding my yarn. And she got a new swift so she said she's giving me the old one. So I just need a winder. So happy about that. And I'm debating next projects. And my monthly shawl club yarn is set to come today. Happy crafting! I want to tag grammadee for the Scrapbook Other Crafts Challenges. Please feel free to share your non-scrapbook crafts in this thread with all of us.

I like looking at everyone's knitting, and think about knitting one day, but I am not sure I have the patience for it! I have been fiddling around with air dry clay with the kids, and made a couple of little tealight houses. They are a little wonky and creepy, but so am I. I am looking to buy a new sewing machine, just a cheap one. My daughter wants to start sewing more and my machine is 65 years old and pretty high maintenance, so I am always a little hesitant to let her sew without me. It's not an easy fix if something breaks. Also, my sewing cabinet is now an integrated part of my husbands home office makeshift standing desk set-up, and I have to dismantle it to sew anything, which is a giant pain in the ass.

Rainy_Day_Woman for some reason I can't see your image on my phone or computer. And I'd really like to see it. If you want to start knitting, we have a whole host if Knitters here who can help you get started. Somehow we lured gar into our yarny web in the past two months and I'm sure we can lure you in too.

Ha- Flickr is acting up on me, I will figure it out. You guys have inspiring knitting! My mom is a really great knitter as well and my daughter knits some, so they can rescue me from rookie mistakes. Ha, here is the house, it is just gigantic now. I am having image posting issues today, sorry ETA: think it's resized now

phoenixcov I see you're around this morning. Are you feeling any better and up for crafting at all lately? I've been worried about you. Still popping in and checking what the crafty peas are up to. You are kind to notice and be worried about me. Health wise still in a bit of a mess, I just thank goodness for crafting otherwise I would surely go off my head as I can`t do much else around the house still.. So here is a hand sewn Luna bunny made in Mohair instead of the usual felt, and a couple of hand sewn quilted dolls house bedspreads to go into my for sale bag. Mojo is quietly coming back.

phoenixcov I'm sad to hear you still aren't feeling up to par. But I'm glad at least you've been able to do some crafting to keep you from going a bit crazy. I like the Luna bunny made out of mohair. She looks so soft.

Well I did NOT finish my basket rim in February like I had hoped. But I am getting really close... about 2"/8 more wraps to go. This'll be the month!!! I don't have any specific plans after that.

We received a lovely tiny blanket when our son was stillborn in the 2nd semester and it was so touching when the hospital had that to give to us. I can’t tell you how much we both appreciated it and the comfort it brought having something hand made for him.

I started doing this after our grandson was born early at 20 weeks and only lived 2 hours. I normally donate to the hospital he was born at, but haven't been able to do that this last year. I found a place that makes up boxes and sends them to hospitals.

I am caught up on my temperature blanket. As you can see from the purple, the Twin Cities had quite a long cold snap, but last week was lovely - mostly 30s/40s. We have one more colder day today, and then we should be back in the 40s, and possibly 50s soon!

Hello Lovely Ladies, happy March! So much chat and fab photos already! phoenixcov it's so good to see you. I hope each day is better for you. Rainy_Day_Woman Love the tea light house! We have a programme here akin to the Great British Bake Off called The Great Pottery Throw Down. It is fabulous, relaxing, inspiring and comforting! They made large clay 'lamps' in the shape of buildings the other week. Such talent and artistry. I think anyone in this thread, indeed many people, would enjoy it. I think we are on series 3. If you can find it, please have a look! Maybe YouTube would have it. I'm half way through the foundation row of the border of my second Queen blanket and might have it done by this time next week. dewryce and scrapsotime I'm so sorry for your losses.

I totally am enjoying getting the packs gillyp. So much so that last week I honestly debated getting the other color of the pack too. But then I was like no I don't want two shawl the same and the shawl pins would be doubled. So I stopped myself. I think I just like happy mail.

I've lost my mind. I couldn't find any fabric I liked for my dining room windows so I'm using my sewing machine to embroider my own - 12 yards of it! I have one 3 yard panel done. The story is on my blog. Blog postHere's a snapshot.

My second installment of the monthly shawl club just arrived. That shawl pin is simply gorgeous! I love the yarn color too - it looks like it will work well with the previous color.

I didn’t want to part with my old reliable, but I LOVE the new sewing machines. Mine threads the needle for me, auto cuts the thread when I stop seeing, and adjusts the tension. And it’s just an average Singer, not even a top line brand or model. I think you will be happy you got a new sewing machine.

I've made 61 hexagons for my blanket, I've pretty much used up all my leftover yarn which pleases me immensely I'm working on the Painting Honeycombs shawl, I'm finding it slow going as the pattern isn't sticking and I have to read every single row.

Is the painting honeycombs knit or crochet? If it's crochet will you link it?
