We will be visiting Hilton Head in the next few weeks. What are your must visit restaurants? I'm open to any recommendations for any meals (breakfast, lunch or dinner). Thanks

It's been so long since I last visited that I won't be any help at all (sorry), but couldn't resist letting you know how jealous I am of you! We used to go fairly often and I have very fond memories - have a great trip!

One of the BEST meals in my life was there at Steamers Seafood Company. Voodoo Skillet and She Crab Soup. Mmmmmmmmmm.

We were at Charlie's L'Etoile Verte a couple of years ago, and it was wonderful. We were also at Charley's Crab a number of years ago and it was my fave, but it changed to Chart House, and we haven't been there since, so I can't say how it is. Another one that is consistently good is the Old Oyster Factory.
We don't have Wild Wing Cafe where we live, so we love to go there when we're at HHI. LOVE the Wild West Wings (I think they're called) ~ with the ranch seasoning on them. Yum!
If you make a side trip to Savannah (one of my favorite things to do), be sure to check out Mrs. Wilkes Boarding House. Amazing food!

We loved the Salty Dog and Mellow Mushroom (pizza). I think they are both within the SeaPines community, so you might have to pay a gate fee to get into either.

Breakfast - Lowcountry Backyard or Plantation Cafe BBQ - If you like BBQ you have to go to One Hot Mama's, sooo good. As an aside the owner was on the first season of Next Food Network Star. Skullcreek Boathouse Hugo's Ray's Cafe Roastfish & Cornbread Charlie's L'Etoile Verte Trattoria Divina Flora's is a favorite, its Italian but not typical entrees like spagetti & lasagna. The owner makes all the deserts herself each day & they are to die for! Market Street Cafe is good for lunch as is Steamers Dye Gullah's chicken is delish, quirky lady Hilton Head Diner is fun for an old fashioned shake
There are really alot of good places to eat, try to stay away from Crazy Crab & Salty Dog. I know its kind of the tourist spot to go to but really its not good food.
