This was our first summer with the RV and had a lot of fun. Now we're thinking about taking another short trip over Thanksgiving or Christmas break. We are in eastern Texas and don't want to go too far from home. What are some short trips you've done in the Fall or Winter?
I'm leaning towards going back to Galveston for a two night stay over Thanksgiving week. We only stayed there one night this year and I think it sounds fun to go when it's not so hot.
The only other thing I've come up with is taking an evening trip with friends to go see the Christmas lights in a town about an hour and half away. I thought it would be fun to play "Christmas Vacation" on our way there, everyone wear ugly sweaters, enjoy the lights and then stop for dinner somewhere before heading home. Kind of like a party bus kind of night. I found a sweater for it, too! Lol
So where have you been or done that was fun? I can't wait for Spring/Summer next year, too! Feel free to share any of your favorite RV events/trips! TIA!
