Well, I may not follow prompts 1-4 but I’m definitely planning on being here for at least 1 day of the crop. Thanks to all those organizing the challenges and virtual sessions.

I'm nearly done with my photos, my goal is to upload them for printing today so I can pick them up in the morning.
HOW: we have a funeral late this coming week and the family will head home at various times over the weekend, so both my DH and I will be happy to have some downtime when it's all done. I might make his weekend and tell him to order a pizza.
WHAT: I really want to finish the final layouts for at least on of my in progress albums. As I mentioned up thread, I have several that are nearly completed, and it would be nice to actually get one or two of those out of my space and in with the other completed albums. Which probably means I'll feel all inspired to catch up on this year's PL or work on one of the projects that is not so complete.
KIT it up!: I go through phases of playing with homemade kits, and just creating from my full stash. I actually have a photo and coordinating papers and a specific embellishment pulled out so I hope to actually make that page next weekend. Other than than, I'm not sure what I'll be working on, whatever inspires me at the time.
Make that LIST: guess I better think about snacks before I do the grocery shopping this week!

So glad I saw this! It will be a perfect opportunity to work on my PL 2020.
I need to sort photos and make sure I have enough adhesive.

Well this could be interesting...I forgot to put my order for photos in and now that Costco only prints then mails them...they may not arrive in time! However, I have some photos printed from a trip to Paris in June 2019 that I can start thinking about working on. I may also start working on a plan for my 2020 PL...so I have enough things to work on this weekend even if it's not what I originally planned!

I've taken the weekend off from moving stuff (with DH's blessing) so I'll hopefully have plenty of time to scrap. I'll probably keep working on 2019 photos

My photo order arrived today and I have a couple of page kits ready to go. I've started Silhouette design files for a one or two more. If the weather is good at least a few hours will go to gardening and spring yard clean up. If it rains I'll scrap, scrap, s rap

So glad to hear that everyone's photo orders have arrived (except for Jessica's, very sorry for you). It's so nice when things fall into place just in time. Kudos to you, Linda, for taking the weekend off to have some fun time with your DH's blessing. Final days to prep, ladies! I've finished the journaling for February + March up to today. I need to work my back through January. This is a bit of a pain in the buttocks to be honest. I have to research the news to get everything right since my memory planner consists of a A LOT of pandemic updates and (geo)politics. It took me all Sunday to get February done. I'm going to try and squeeze in a couple of hours of January research this afternoon and a few more tomorrow. Then I need to print all the journaling out on my Happy Planner pages so I can relax and have fun with supplies during the crop. Anyone pulling stamp sets from their collection for this weekend? I have gone through mine and pulled a nice little pile of sets with sentiments and icons that could work for my project. I am looking forward to stamping on pattern paper and fussy-cutting to add a bit of colour to my memory planner this year.

I went through my stamps and pulled all the travel or beach related ones out. I had totally forgotten I had a old Prima stamp with a sailboat, so that was exciting! I love stamping on patterned paper...I forget to do it half the time, but when it works it really looks great.

I'm getting excited!😀
I haven't pulled stamps, but they're right at my fingertips, so no worries.
I need to look through this order & plan pages.

Okay, meals planned & prepped.
Family notified that when I'm not working, I reaaallllly want to scrap.
Latest photo order organized.
In it, I have screen shots and saved tweets relating to the insurrection.
Which made me think (again) of maybe making an album about the insanity that was the Trump presidency, and how it affected my personal life.
I admit I have way too many photos of it. There were just too many times I was left with my mouth wide open, scared, and incredulous.
Do I want to put together something?
Just thinking out loud, but I don't think it would be a pretty something. Maybe like a wide Avery 3 ring binder, with page protectors.
But seriously, where would I even start? I never thought he'd win, but I sure remember staying up late on election night 2016, the chatter in our house incredulous.
And then scandal after scandal. I couldn't possibly include everything.
But it was a very long four years. I kinda feel that it changed me. Or at least how I saw life, and the people around me. So much hate from people I wouldn't have expected it from.
I'm still mulling this over.
Also, i have a plastic shoe box of old family photos that was given to me about a year ago. I was looking through it, and some are labeled, some not.
I want to copy some, but again, where would I start? And how would I ever do them justice?

Sounds like a really interesting project to work on, LavenderLayoutLady . I don't have an overall project to work on. I do have a bunch of birthday photos and my birthday tub close at hand. And one box of happy mail arrived Monday, another is at my PO ready for pick up, and a third is expected to arrive on Friday. So lots of new product to play with. Today I printed the sketch and a couple of photos and selected some papers from my newest kit to use for this week's Sketchy Saturday sample. Will get that LO done first on Friday morning. And I printed off a LO from the 2Peas Gallery that I want to lift. Hoping the sketch and the inspiration will get me into the groove of creating. Sometimes new product inspires me, and sometimes it overwhelms me.
Getting my hair cut tomorrow, and while that is unrelated to the crop, I will be shopping for groceries afterward. Not so much looking for snack food as easy meals for dh & me for the weekend.

It is Thursday morning here in France and I'm now officially 24h away from inaugurating the crop... Eeek, so exciting! Jessica Congratulations on your photo order arriving just in time! Talk about serendipity. LavenderLayoutLady That personal album about the Trump years sounds like a great project, albeit mentally exhausting, I'm sure. Still, your memories of those years will never be as fresh as they are now so it could be a neat idea to start working on it pretty soon. I'm interested in seeing how you handle the balance between politics and personal stories if you ever decide to share your pages. It looks like you don't shy away from heavier, difficult documenting (I was so touched when I read about your perseverance with your broher's memorial page). I think you can do this! grammadee Happy haircut day! Nothing like a grocery run to stock the house with whatever will make your weekend easier... Birthday photos are always such a happy occasion to scrap so I've got a feeling you're setting yourself up for three days of documenting with a big grin on your face. Great idea! msliz You, too, have succombed to the appeal of some sweets, tee hee. Sending you good cooking vibes in advance for Friday! @kendramage A fellow stamping-on-pattern-paper fan, yay!
