Thank you...I need all the help I can get...lol
I will have to view these at the library or my daughters...we have very bad internet here...
I really thought you would have Gesso the pages...I will start another one trying your way...I need to get more stencils...I like the Prima ones and I have some of Tim Holtz as well
The Gelli plate looks interesting and will have to see some videos on that as well and I like the idea of using the smaller one as well...

I use do gesso my pages sometimes. It depends on what I am doing. But I always use the Strathmore Mixed Media Journal paper so it holds up to media well.

I got to watch part of the video on the Gelli site...only around 3 min. long. I like your look so much better with all the layering you do.
On youtube there are so many demo's and was wondering if you knew of one that may be close to the way you do your layering.
This plate looks so interesting.
Where I live I would have to order on line , we just do not have the craft/artist stores in our area.

I just saw your newest post...that helps...now off topic
You seem to have a good outlook on life and seem so upbeat ...I struggle with depression and most days mostly toward the evening get really down. I am not a young person, 66...I have tried thinking positive but it does not work for me...you seem so up and full of energy.
I tried the anti depression way but that is NOT for me and it is hard to get off them but as fast as I was on them I got off of them, not a good feeling so I will never go back to that...guess I just wanted to share a little of me to a person who seems so nice and full of life...wish I were more like that myself.

Lovely page! I've been eyeing the small circles gelli plates and couldn't justify it because I too never get out my 8.5x11 plate.
So sorry for your loss! Cancer is an ugly disease. We recently, within the last month, lost a good friend to it as well. Hugs and blessings to you.

What a sad time for you all. You have produced some lovely pages through the pain - both physical (headache) and the most painful - a sad and broken heart. I do love the colors you have used here. A muted, soothing background, with the brighter purples, blues & green flowers - so full of hope. I feel inspired. Thank you. Also thanks for the links. I am very new to mixed media and love finding new inspiration!
