I thought it would be fun to start a thread where we could list our favorite scrapbook companies that aren't owned by AC. My (not so) LSS owner refuses to deal with AC, so she doesn't carry any of their products. She still has fully stocked shelves and is always expanding. I'll start the list with a few of my favorites. Please add yours, because I know there are a lot more.
Echo Park Carta Bella Doodlebug 49 and Market Mintay (a Polish company that has the most gorgeous papers!)

Came here to say these two. I loooove Pinkfresh and I am really becoming a big Elle's Studio fan now that I seem to be able to get more of their products in the UK. Simple Stories have my go-to 6x8 albums. Have been using them for 6 years now.

One thing that has always irked me about AC's choices/practices is that they seem to make only low-quality (acrylic or silicone) clear stamps and never photopolymer (high-quality). It has made me steer clear of their stamps no matter how much I might like a collection, because I refuse to invest in stamps that will bead up the ink, stamp inconsistently, lose their stickiness, and downright decay. I only buy photopolymer (made this decision after some lessons learned in my early crafting years), and they hold up and perform as intended. This choice of AC's seems short-sighted to me, because veteran stampers know better, and new stampers will be disappointed with the product.
Brands I love outside of AC (although I do adore Crate Paper and Shimelle, or DID ...*sniff sniff*): Lawn Fawn, Kindred Stamps, Carta Bella, Unity Stamps, and so many more.

Don't forget Kaisercraft. They're one of my faves, along with several already mentioned. Love their die cuts, papers & wood veneer. They used to do great rub ons, haven't seen any of those from them for a long time, though.
I find the AC brands don't usually mix with my style. I do well with Kaisercraft, MME, Carta Bella/Echo Park, Simple Stories, Fancy Pants and Authentique. Probably missing a few, but those make up a huge part of my more recent stash purchases. I do miss many of the brands that have exited the scene in the past several years.

The only things I buy from AC is white cardstock and Thickers. Their collections do not appeal to me at all. Sadly, Simple Stories used to be my go to, but their recent collections look too much like Crate Paper, and I haven’t bought any of them, not even the Disney collection!
My faves (non-digita): Echo Park/Carta Bella Cocoa Vanilla Studios Ell’s Studio Feed Your Craft Doodlebug Bella Blvd

I'm glad someone mentioned Kaisercraft. I love Kaisercraft.
Back when I worked at the LSS there was a company called Stamping Station that I think eventually changed their name to Scrapbook Customs. They were awesome to work with and customized their papers and embellishments to anything you wanted. So we were able to carry items that were branded to our local high schools, colleges, and venues. They were a great seller for us.

I placed an order so I can use it for all three of my kids that graduated from the same HS.

It was fun for our customers to get papers personalized to our local pumpkin farm, for the local Christmas parade, and Chinese New Year celebration. That is great that you can order individually online from them!

DCWV is a AC brand now. They really have taken over. Thanks for the information; I've never purchased or used DCWV brand products, just seen the paper pads at Tuesday Morning. I corrected my post upthread. The only things I buy from AC is white cardstock and Thickers. Their collections do not appeal to me at all... ...I find the AC brands don't usually mix with my style...I do miss many of the brands that have exited the scene in the past several years. Similarly, the only AC product I've purchased in the last 15 months is Bazzill cardstock packs in neutral colors at Tuesday Morning. Paper collections from AC brands aren't my style (ie vintage, floral, pastel, traditionally feminine, overly themed, odd icons, etc.), clear stamp sets are acrylic, & many embellishments aren't labeled as acid free or archival quality &/or are advertised as stickers but don't stick! I also miss many defunct brands, such as Chatterbox, KI Memories, October Afternoon, etc.

I sadly don't know who is and isn't owned by American Crafts. I like Stamperia quite a bit, love Prima, then Photo Play and Echo Park, but I buy often from Scrap Your Trip and Scrapbook Customs. I have also been buying often from Creative Memories which I normally haven't been, and some from Close to My Heart.
I really like all the companies.

I'm just scared AC is going to read this and snatch up the remaining companies to have world scrapbook supplies domination. 🤔
I'm loving the new Mintay brand, the papers are gorgeous. I haven't used any yet as it's in my SG Bankit order but I'm anxious to get them.
