I was looking at the various things recommended by refugeepea to include with a gift journal on scrappinghappy 's post and noticed this pricing issue on a date stamp. A single stamp is $6.20, and buying the 4-pack is $129.99? Putting two singles in you cart gives you a total of $12.40 or put in the double pack for $79.99? Who on earth would order the 4-pack instead of 4 of the single pack? Or any of the multiples for that matter. I have noticed this on Amazon on other items in the past and do not understand it. Is it just a giant mistake each time? I always check prices when buying multiples of anything and it seems to happen so often. And not always as outrageous as this, but often a clearly better price to add multiple individual items rather than their packaged deal. Does the seller just hope you will click on the volume listing without noticing the price? Can anyone explain this? (pic deleted to free space) Attachments:

I have experienced this on several different random items on Amazon over the years. It doesn't make sense!

I wondered if it was that item is not for sale/not available.

I'm always up for paying the highest price. The higher the better! Maybe they think some will miss the lower price listing and fall for it?
