Ugh! Again with the gendered language in the product. My girls like science. I'm guessing some of you have boys who like candy. Why do they have to make it so difficult for me to buy what they're trying to sell? Thank you for posting about all the new product PaperAngel

Um, To The Moon has some repeat papers. Either BB released them or another company because the star in circle paper and the stripes in my stash.
I will get a few of those papers for DS.
ETA, yes, they needed to add girl astronauts to the papers and embellishments.

msliz and @sunnycamom Yes! What is it with gendered collections that could have easily been gender neutral themed collections?! Aren't there female astronauts? (Yes, there are!) Can boys like candy (Yes, they can!) And I'm going to really blow your mind when I tell you that I even happen to know non-binary people who like both science AND candy! They identify as neither boy nor girl, and still like candy and outer space. Can you believe it?! /s Out of all of the product, i like the space collection's cardstock colors, and the star shaped puffy stickers. But the gendering is extremely off putting. And the bundles seem like desperate attempts to unload product that didn't sell well enough.

Not a fan of either collection. I like pink, but it's so over the top on the Candy Girl collection.

ITA: Please don't hit me over the head with a gender symbol. Is this some inside message from Bella Blvd? Because at work we now add our pronouns...

no interest - there are individual pieces of the To The Moon I liked but not enough to bother hunting down.
I'll echo everyone else - candy and space aren't gendered

I hate them. Way too gendered, too cutesy, too boring.

I like To the Moon. Were studying astronomy right now so I’ll probably grab some for those pages. Plus I have older picture of DSs bedroom when it was space theme. I like the value packs but I already have so many still on my stash. The candy one isn’t something I’d use. My poor kids rarely have candy

I like the colors in to the moon. Except for the ‘little man’ paper it’s rather gender neutral or inclusive ( there are girls in those space suits ) I like this but have no current need for it. Although I detest the phrase ‘little man’ and would never use that paper.
Candy girl is bordering on offensive to me ( semi sarcastic ) it’s too pink, it’s too ‘sweet’, it’s offensively overly specific in gendered stereotypes. It’s just a huge hell no for me.
I don’t mind feminine scrapping lines, bring me florals. I like pastels. It’s all great in balance, but the stereotypes in that line are pretty cringey. Imho it’s time we got past that kind of bull crap. Those are not messages I want to send to my daughter

Also, can paper companies start to include people that aren't all white? BIPOC scrappers would like inclusion. They would like to have a a figure that represents their child.

I like the puffy stickers for each collection, that is about it. Way too over the top with theme for me.

That candy one is SO PINK! Didn't even get close enough to read the phrases. To the Moon has nice colours, and I am always on the lookout for starry sky pp, but none of my dgk's--boys OR girls--are particularly interested in space and rockets. So I am not really sad that our LSS doesn't carry this brand.

I like them both. One baby girl in December. Another arriving in April. I have almost daily pics of Cici sent to me. This week she’s dressed up as a different Disney princess. My sis says she’ll be putting bows on Zora for as long as possible. She’s got three boys right now. Both of these collections are ones I’ll buy the collection packs and probably some embellishments too. B sides are unthemed for the most part. There are some girl astronauts, but they have ponytails outside of their space helmets. 🤦🏻♀️ My 12 year old daughter got a telescope for Christmas. To the Moon will be awesome to scrap related photos. I can’t wait for these to be released!

I like all of it but I have a 2 year old DGD so most everything works for her busy little self. And I adore Doodle Pops.

The Value stacks and bundles look very similar to Doodlebug ones. I think they’re the same company now? The candy one screams Doodlebug, too. I hope they don’t add the cutesy smiley faces to everything Bella Blvd. I like most Doodlebug stuff, I just wish their enamel pieces were offered without the smiley faces. I love the big cut outs in the Bella blvd lines. I like the Moon one but agree the candy one is way too much pink.

My candy girl looks exactly like any doodlebug Valentine’s Day collection. I know they are working together but I don’t see any BB in there.
The space collection is cute and they are getting there with having 2 girl astronaut embellishments, but the words still implies it made for boys.

I love cutesy even though my teen daughter is beyond that. My mom recently sorted through years of pictures and gave me a bunch of them, so I have lots of old pictures of my daughter to scrapbook plus I have many young nieces and nephews. So I can definitely see me buying a few pieces from these lines.

I love the cutesy of my candy girl. I don't know if I'll buy it, but it's cute. (I have 3 girls, so we have/had a lot of pink and girly around here!)

I just added a couple of value bundles and a die set to my cart. Estimated shipping to Canada. $69 for cart. $63 for postage. Don’t think so.

To the Moon would work for both boys and girls. There are a few male centered words or phrases, but there are girl astronauts in the stickers and the ephemera. Lots of things that work for both.

I'm with you on the Doodlebug smiley faces everywhere. It's just too much. I have skipped this year's Doodlebug Easter line simply because of the smiley faces.

I like To The Moon - great colors and useful for both genders (minus a couple of boy-specific phrases). I’m not really fond of the girl braids/pony tails with bows outside of the helmets. Girls and boys would look the same in an astronaut suit - all you would really see is their bangs. Why does a girl have to have a bow?
The thing I noticed was the price - $29.99 for the collection, and it’s a dollar more than buying the individual pieces.
Also, I wish BB and Doodlebug would stop making epoxy embellies. They are always so cute, and I have to remind myself that they will quickly yellow. I wish they did those designs as chipboard or puffies or cardstock stickers instead. I’m always so tempted.
