Inherited a Canon PowerShot xs500is..

I know this is old now, but it is literally almost new. Used perhaps 20 times. Having never had a "nice" camera, is this a good camera? By the reviews, it seems like it was, back in the day. I'd love to know how to get the most out of it, but if by 2021 standards it is not good now, I will just pass it by.
