"Littles" as a substitute for "kids" or "children"
ETA: Just realized its not a phrase but it still annoys me

I have never heard that!! It must be AU! but I would agree. I didn't realise it was just us Aussies! It is quite common here for someone to say "when I fell pregnant" or "I was hoping to fall pregnant" It’s common in the UK too 😊 Oh yes and ‘share’ 😤

"It's been a minute."
No, it's been a month, or a year, or a decade. This current trendy expression is driving me bonkers.
As for "fell pregnant" - I'm American and I've only heard that expression used on international television shows. I assumed it was a common expression in other cultures than my own. Like "No worries," which sounds very Australian to me.
"Yummy" - my decorator used "yummy" to describe a long-yarn rug. It seemed odd.

An adult describing food as "yummy" to another adult. I can beat that. I have a friend who posts food pics on Facebook with the same one-word caption every time. Nummy. 😁

When someone asks for tips or recommendations in a Facebook group and ends the post with “...and GO!” No, I absolutely will not help you now.

When someone asks for tips or recommendations in a Facebook group and ends the post with “...and GO!” No, I absolutely will not help you now. Hahaha, I read all of the posts above and they either didn't bother me or I'm guilty of using them myself, then I read your post. Yes, yes, a bazillion times yes. If you ask for something and then say "Go!" I am going to silently judge you for giving me an order and scroll on.

All these dating shows where they describe their perfect mate being their "partner in crime". I cannot roll my eyes enough! Pretty much any business speak: "circle back", "let's take that offline," etc.

To go along with "No Worries" instead of "Thank you", the one I hear all the time is "Of Course." I rarely hear it from anyone over 40. It must be a young people thing. It makes me nuts.

When someone asks for tips or recommendations in a Facebook group and ends the post with “...and GO!” No, I absolutely will not help you now. Totally agree - I might have answered your question if you hadn't said "and GO" - that just annoys me for some unknown reason.

1. I did a thing. 2. Well, this happened today. Yes! I hate both! What thing did you do? Why not just say "I cleaned the house" instead of "I did a thing"? It reminds me of when people on facebook post something so vague so people will ask questions.

I could easily comment on every single post! But to save time, I will just say I agree with all of you and I dislike those words or phrases too. So thank you all for making me think I am not alone!

"No problem" for "You're welcome." And "splash" as in "I love a splash of cream in my coffee." Or "of course" instead of "you're welcome".

An adult describing food as "yummy" to another adult. HATE that! Describing any new designer scrapbook paper as "yummy" is the worst. I had to stop following a name brand crafter because he constantly used yummy to describe everything. I am another one who hates "curated." I'll add (because of the many work meetings I attend) low-hanging fruit social-emotional deep dive light lift or heavy lift

"Flexible" in the context of someone assigning you more job responsibilities. "Oh, we're going to need everyone to just be flexible ..."
Learning loss. That's not a thing. Learning isn't a straight line even in a normal year.
