No! Live in Yelm, WA and the last one in Lacey just closed last week. I also found out that our Yelm Pharmacy and quilting place is getting rid of their scrap sections! I'm bummed out. Big time. I'll have to do some research and search Olympia...

Mine is actually a Stamping store with Scrapbooking. Half the store is her husband's bookstore. They make their own stamps and she teaches stamping classes. It's a small town so I'm surprised the store is still there. The LSS in Trenton closed and in Belleville it's still open. I have to get a ride though for those ones so I'm for the local stamping store since she stocks the adhevsives I use at a decent price. I've driven to your small town. I love that store. Awesome! My younger sister thought Frog Whisker's Ink was a tattoo palour! Rose-Marie is great. I went in there in July looking for plaid paper. My husband needed Thank You cards for the cast of "Forever Plaid" that he was directing. I couldn't find plaid anymore. He also needed ribbon. M's told him in 2 weeks they were getting Christmas stuff which would be too late. Not only did she have paild ribbon but also a Christmas pad of paper that had plaid. She told me she always keeps some Christmas related items for the summer since she gets some people on vacation who go to the cottage and want to start on Christmas stuff.

Jediannie we live in the same area...the one in San Jose (Scrapbook Island) just moved down the street to Los Gatos. She mentioned during the class I took there that they were taking Scrapbook out of the name because they now offer more than just scrapbook supplies.

the LSS here is still open but in a smaller location and with limited hours - Tu-Th 10-2 and on Saturdays when there's a class in session. I don't get there often but the owner is so sweet.

If you are anywhere even remotely close to Scrapbook Island Creative Escape in Los Gatos, go! It is twice as big as the old store, and they are only 2 minutes down Blossom Hill Road from the old location. They have a large vintage section, lots of papers and embellies and a large crop room. The crops are fun and nice to be able to spread out a bit when cropping. They crop Friday nights and once or twice a month on Saturdays. They also hold lots of special events. I cannot walk out of the store with out spending $$$$!

At one time we had four in our small city and although they weren't amazing I considered myself very lucky:) Sadly the last one announced it is closing this month:( End of an era...

We have one in the area but it's 45 min drive one way for me. I go maybe 1-2 times a year. With an impatient toddler, it's just easier to order online (and cheaper since the gas to get there alone isn't cheap). Plus that way I'm sure to get what I want. LSS seems to carry stuff that isn't really my style so it's hit or miss for me.

We still have one here. She is right off the beach and markets heavily to the vacationers/snow bird crowd. By doing that, she is able to do pretty well. She also does vending at a number of retreats in the area. Luckily, she has reasonably trendy stuff and is not too far from my house.
