The forth of July celebration from the Nation's capitol on?
Our oldest son is stationed in D.C. He is in the Air Force Honor guard (yes, I'm super proud and will brag ad nauseum. Sorry in advance) He is one of the guys who carries the rifles that flank the flags on the color guard. Anyway, he called yesterday and told me to watch the celebration on t.v. because they will be performing.
He was super excited that he will be on national t.v., so of course he forgot to ask what network it would be on. Does anyone know? We don't usually watch any of them as we are usually out at the lake for the 4th. But I haven't seen my kid in 7 months and I really, really want to catch it!
I did text him and tell him he needed to find out which station, but he is 19 and a "grown up" and replying to my text messages isn't a priority. Silly kid!

"A Capital Fourth" airs on the local PBS stations. The record it live then replay it. You'll have to look up the station numbers for the area or cable company. For us in NoVa, WETA is channels 22 and 26 (or 522 and 526 via Verizon FIOS).
